This is a 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, 4-speed manual, 4x4. It is very hard to find this vehicle in the Northeast without extensive body rust. This one has very little overall rust and a solid frame. The truck has new tires, radiator, clutch, intake manifold, fan clutch, thermostat, oil pressure gauge and more. The interior is clean for a 20+-year-old truck. The engine is the stock 2F with 125K miles and still runs strong. The 2F is a very dependable engine and can withstand abuse. However, I have given it a lot of TLC. It has air conditioning but needs a recharge. The 4WD works great. I am asking $6500 or best offer. Please email me for more pictures. I could use one less truck around my place and don't have too much free time right now to finish parting this girl, so, here goes............a 90 FJ62, champagne in color. No rust. Anywhere. Truck came from Arizona and is the cleanest 60/62 series I've ever owned (and that's a lot of trucks). Bad news- I've taken a number of items from the truck already- all the power window and door lock switches, power mirrors, rear stabilizer, Ac amp, and seat belts are gone. No title (but I think I can get it readily). Front end has some damage to the fenders and grille but I can throw in a driver fender and grille with the truck. Dash pad is cracked badly from the AZ sun. Has ugly tube bumpers front and rear.

This is a feeler for a 1984 FJ60 with 260k on the clock
It had a new motor at 255k or so...right before I bought it.
PO also says the tranny is rebuilt. I don't have paperwork for either thing, though the engine runs strong and doesn't burn oil or leak. Compression was 165-175 across the board.

I won't go into the details, I'll just say that it has to go and it has nothing to do with the cruiser. There are ZERO issues with this cruiser. It drives great on the road, off the road, it doesn't overheat, AC works, everything works (except rear heater is disconnected)...... It absolutely kills me to do this:frown:
FYI - I don't have a lot of time to sell it, so I went ahead and put it on ebay. I'll gladly end the auction if anyone here is interested.
Here's a quick summary:
2000 5.3L Vortec and 4L60E from Suburban. 2,000 miles on them at time of install. 10,000 miles since conversion was done (conversion done in 2001). All smog equipment present.

Here is an Autotrader link. The owner is asking $6800 but is negotiable. I test drove this bright yellow FJ62 this weekend. There is a little rust (4 inches long, just bubbling) right under the lift gate window. That is the only rust I saw on the vehicle. The owners have recently made some spendy repairs including new radiator, new main seal, etc. and have all receipts. Kids are going away to college so they are selling it. Engine seemed strong, suspension seemed worn out. It does have a lift, probably about 2-3''. Interior was good with usual worn out front seat. It's in Park City, Utah. Thought I'd pass it along if anyone is interested. Real nice folks, seemed honest.

1987 FJ60
I am the third owner of this all original, unmodified, classic vehicle. It has been lightly used and never off road. The mileage is correct (143K) and the car has always been garaged. I have owned the vehicle for 5 yrs and have driven it for about 15K miles and it has been incredible. It drives and handles like new. I will describe the car in as much detail as I can. I also have many photos to show of this all original classic SUV.
BODY is in good condition especially for being 20 yrs old. The paint shows no fading of any kind and shines like it was new. It has some rust on the front left panel and rear right panel. There are no dings or dents. The rest of the body is in excellent condition.
ENGINE the car runs like...
Please dont buy these! I have been wavering on selling them or not, so I wont be sad if they dont go.. (but given the additions to the family, the mini-van suits us, and I want to offset the cost of a motorbike)
