I checked out this cruiser via email only and it sounds like a decent ride. I've decided not to get it, but I thought I'd pass it along. The owner is a Park Ranger who doesn't drive it much. If you are interested contact him with the info here or go to the Autotrader ad linked below.

Here is a link to the ad.

Here is a link to the pictures he sent me.

Here is some of the text from the email he sent with more info:

''The engine was rebuilt in 2001. Since then I have out 47k miles on it. Here are some pictures of the wear and tear.''

''...the vehicle came from Park City Utah. I bought it there in 98. Before I could register it there I had to replace the pitman arm and some other minor repair. They said I would need to replace the windshield since it was cracked, but the crack hasn't done much moving in the last 9 years.

Here is the run down of repairs and or issues:

In 99 I replaced the radiator
I had the brakes done in 2000; pads, drums, and rotors
In 2002 I replced the muffler and the pipe back from thre exhaust-a shackle need to replace one that wore away
In 03 the egr sensor and the water pump were replaced as well as plugs, wires and cap and the thermostat
The tires were replced in 01.

The paint on the hood is wearing away in a irregular pattern.

The vehicle comes with a pioneer 6 disc changer but the antennae needs to be replaced for the in dash radio. I have bought the parts from spector, but never installed them. I would just replace the radio because it catches cassettes intermittently.

One of the electric rear window control's connections have worn down. So there is one less in the rear. I still have the box, it may need a widget or two to make it work again.

The interior is in good condition. The center console wiggels a bit and has since I bought it

I think the engine is tired, but it still runs realiably.

I replaced the battery this summer. I have not driven it much in the last three years and the battery couldn't hold it together.

I am a park ranger and have lived in remote areas. The mileage is from long runs to town and seasonal journeys from work to work.

The 4wd has worked great and without fail.

There is a little rust on the liftgate. I have a replacement lift gate from a friend's 60 that is white. I haven't painted or replaced it and you are welcome to it if you like.
Oh and it did pass smog six years ago in San Mateo. Since then I have lived in counties that don't require a smog inspection.''
