I've got to sell my rig pretty soon. I've got major home repairs to do and have had to choose between my dream truck and my house.
The chassis was an 1985 FJ60 with 159k on the dial. It is rust free and has only a few dings for character. It's powered by an NA B3 with ~220k and has an H55 5-speed to get the power to the wheels. Custom power steering and air conditioning, both of which work great. Interior in average to good condition.
It runs and drives awesome. It coughs a little smoke on a single glow in a cold start in cold weather, but smooths out very quickly. Starts clean and smooth on warm days or when using the block heater. Maybe needs new glow plugs.

It has a 4" safari lift, the roof rack is gone, headers and a weber DGAS 38 carb. The motor was rebuilt by P/O about 40,000 miles ago. The body has very little rust showing after i did repairs. I have two rigs that I would like to sell. Time to thin the herd a bit and concentrate on my troopy. 1978 FJ40 and 1988 FJ62
Both vehicles can be/are used as daily drivers and are mechanically sound. They both run great. The 40 can run hot. After changing the thermostat, water pump, and fan last summer with no change, I'd say it needs a new radiator.
Both vehicles have rust on the bodies but nothing major. The 40 has a hole in the left front quarter panel where a snorkel used to be installed. The largest area of rust on the 40 is the doors, and on the 62 is the rear wheel wells.
The 62 is basically stock and I am asking $5 k obo for that rig.
The 40 has front and rear locking differentials, Warn winch, PIAA lights with wiring...

I have had this cruiser for a little over a year and it has been great. i just don't have the time with school and work to enjoy it. This is my third cruiser and i wish i could keep it but now I'm lookin at the fj cruisers.

It's been meticulously maintained and never missed a service. Some parts have been replaced or rebuilt recently, including the Carb, Radiator, master-cylinder, and AC system (overhauled). It passed SMOG without any issues.
It has a 300Watt (8-speaker) sound system in it. The deck is a Blaupunkt that plays Audio CD's as well as MP3-CD's, and you can also plug in your iPod! Furthermore, the deck is concealed in the center-console steel lockbox. I had it installed there after a breakin during which the deck was stolen out of the dashboard.
Inside is in good condition, meaning it is reasonably clean.

Needs clutch, hood and front seal, it's leaking pretty bad. Runs and drives ok except for clutch. 4 Speed, 220,xxx miles. Very little rust. All glass is good, doors are good, decent tires with full size spare. Grill is not in pics, but is there, not broken, but it does have a small crack. New battery.
