I have owned this truck as the second owner since 1991. It is Southern California vehicle. 1st own lived in Palm Desert CA. I have a file of all the records for the truck. I have 320,000 miles on the truck. At around the 280,000 mile range I rebuilt the transmission and transfer case. At around 310,000 it needed an upper engine rebuild. The company made a mistake and over boar the cylinders thus resulting in an engine replacement. I eneded up getting a used engine with around 100k miles on it. I changed out the front and rear gears from 4.11 to 4.56. The rear has an auburn locker. The ac went out so I had a new compressor and dryer put in and now we are using the r134a. It blows icecold. Posting up to see if there’s any interest. I’ve had this a little over 3 years. I’ve put around 1500 miles on it. It has 334 kilometers on the ODO (223k US). It’s the 12HT with a 5-speed. The PTO was removed by the previous owner in Japan. It’s had one repaint and has some rust coming through in areas. None of it has advanced since being in central TX the last 3 years. I put an OME lift on it as well as 5 new tires. I have 6ish 12HT’s in other vehicles here at my place and this by far runs better than any of them. Hey guys, I’ve been a huge fan of 60 series for a long time and ready to make the jump into one. I currently have an 07 Landcruiser at just above 201k miles and am interested in trading for a 60 series (preferably FJ62 but the right 60 would work too). The 100 series is my daily (~30 miles round trip) and I’d need something capable of that. I know there’s a price disparity between the two so am not looking for a show queen but ideally something mostly rust free and mechanically sound (don’t want to have to turn around to dump money into it). I bought this Land Cruiser two years ago and have completely rebuilt all the mechanical/electrical systems. 6.0 LQ4 LS swapped Land Cruiser with a 5 speed manual gearbox (H55F). I rebuilt the LQ4 engine with premium parts, definitely has loads of horsepower and torque. I blended in the GM and toyota wiring harness so all the factory gauges work. Custom headers and exhaust. The original driveline, axles, suspension and brakes have been completely re-built. New high pressure fuel pump and fuel lines. New KO2 tires with less them 2k miles on them. Hey everyone, I have an all original 1990 FJ62 for sale. I have owned it for 5 years and have only put about 10k miles on it. Since I’ve owned it I have replaced the cooling system, master cylinder, and got the AC blowing cold. Clean interior. It has a small leak at the rear main, not enough to effect the oil level, but leaves some spots on the driveway. There is a rust spot around where the roof rack meets the gutter.
