1988 FJ62 daily driver going up for sale. This truck is super reliable and has served me well. I have a baby on the way, so unfortunately gotta find this baby a new home. The things i love most are it's never left me stranded and there is no frame rust. Budget is $35-37K. I'm looking for a JDM HJ61 (1987-1989), that has been well-maintained and is in great condition, with interior trim and seats in great shape and working power windows and sunroof. I'm interested in the most OEM example possible...no lifts, no custom bumpers.

I have decided to sell Lucille, the cruiser that I said I would never sell. I will start with a little history. I bought the 62 almost 10 years ago to be my baby wagon as my first gen Tacoma wasn't big enough to hold the whole family. Long story very short, we didn't need a baby mobile and my Taco continued to be my daily, so the 62 became my trail rig. I can tell a perspective buyer almost anything. 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ60 auto.
24 volts system, diesel 4.0L, 6cyl.
Engine won’t start. Has new rebuilt injectors and new glow plugs. Engine turns but won’t fire up, valves are moving, suspecting piston rings are stuck.
Body rusty but has a good potential. I have ownerships, inspection needed in my province, so it will need inspection in any other provinces or state!

Hey guys! Tossing around the idea of selling/trading my 2017 Tundra TRD Pro. It’s an awesome truck that’s perfect in every aspect for what I do and need. It’s perfect for our little family but I’m an idiot and the hankering to daily a Land Cruiser again is in full form.
I’ve still got my 40 that I wrench on a weekly basis but the excitement of running through gears and possibly breaking down on my commute to work is calling my name.
Truck has 110k miles and goes up slowly as it’s my daily commuter and family truckster. Tires are 35x12.5x18 toyo open country at3s. Only have about 15kmiles on them so far. New method wheels as well when the tires were put on a few months ago.

Typical story of starting a project and not having the time, energy and funds to get it over the finish line. This was my daily driver for a few years in California (Bay Area) and finished a handful of items to start. All work done at A+ Japanese. Haven't driven her much the last couple of years. Owned for the last six years but haven't really driven since 2020. Not currently registered. Would love to keep it but would also love to see someone bring her back to glory. I'm starting to look for a 60 in earnest. My ideal rig would be driver quality, nice enough that it's not full of rust holes but not so nice I feel guilty driving it in the winter. Already 5-speed swapped would be awesome but might be out of budget for me. Needing some mechanical work is fine. I bought my '07 LX here on mud and @tacoduck sold me a great truck, so hoping I can find the same with a 60.
A great project for the right person. We've poured all our time and energy into getting our truck mechanically sound and were hoping to make it look pretty too, but a new baby means our Blue Baby has to find a new family. Engine runs great, and has lots more mileage left to give. Transmission is great and we updated the exhaust with a new OTRAMM stainless steel system. The major projects left to complete are finishing the wiring for power windows (all new window motors have been installed, and new power mirrors, they just need to be connected), and fixing the paint and rust on the body. The truck isn't winning any beauty contests yet, but it'll get you where you need to go. Please check out the Craigslist listing for more info. Thanks.
