I have a 2005 CRF 250 X with Trailer for sale or possible trade for a FJ40. I am asking 5600 for both. The bike has a auto tranny you still need to pull clutch to start, carbon skid, brake coolers, Marcozzi front suspension fork, hand guards, tires are in good shape about 75%, aftermarket exahaust. Looking for a 1975 or later FJ 40 for a project.Looking for a complete vehicle running or not in the British Columbia area.
Anyone want to trade an FJ40 or BJ40/42 for a couple of dirtbikes? I have a 2005 WR450 (lots of aftermarket enhancements) and a stock 2006 YZ125 with no more than 4 hours of riding. The YZ is my wife's bike.
I am getting a bit older and I do not heal as well anymore. I am looking at slowing down and changing hobbies from dirt biking to offroading and camping with the family.
I live in Southern California in the Inland Empire.

Well I am going to sell my last FJ40 since it is to small for the family. I am going to put it on Ebay soon but I wanted you guys to have first shot.
It is a 76 that was converted by Dave Gore at Renegade and has the following:
TBI 350 V8 Installed as a new long block from GM. has newer serpentine accessory drive.

I have decided to sell My cruiser, the short story of the rig, its solid with new fenders turn signals front and rear, all gauges work ,color is Nebula Green, 4 inch lift with new crager rims and 33 tires, Drivers seat needs redone, but it currently has a blazer seat with power, I have a set of Half doors that will go with the sell, the org owner was John Hauss Brewery in Canada, they had 7 Fj40's that they used to haul Hops, I bought vehicle #1 and Vehicle #7 both had low miles, this one is vehicle #1 which I guess was the boss vehicle, but no way to be for shure, I replaced the starter, water pump, all new hoses, seals, and the front end was replaced with a 78 FJ for the Disk brakes, there is one small bubble of rust right above...

The FJ40 is a 79 so it is the same age as my wife! It is very solid and
has a Chevy 350 from a 1984 K5 Blazer...original tranny and transfer case
were rebuilt four years ago and have about 8000 miles on them. It has new:
shocks, new wheels, new BFG AT tires (all five match), new 3"
flowmaster exhaust (50 series), new Herculiner interior, seats are from a Honda
and the driver side has a tear, she leaks and burns some oil...typical Chevy
engine, runs great...I love the 40 but am driving tons of miles for work and it
is killing me on mpg (it gets 15mpg) ummm...new MAF front bumper, mag light mount, no speakers, good new JVC stereo, new KC hilights,
OBO...needs ta go...

The car has around ~130K miles. The speedometer was intermittent when I bought the car and shortly thereafter stopped working; hence the approximate mileage. The interior is in great condition as is the frame and body. The engine runs great and drives alright, but it still needs a solid tune-up. I've driven it around the neighborhood and had a blast, but it might be sketchy for a new driver to take on the freeway. I bought this...

For Sale: '74 FJ-40
I'm buying a new house and FrankenSix must go.
This is a cosmetically challenged '74 40 that I did a frame-off
reconstruction of, less than a thousand miles ago. But those miles have stretched from 1998.
The original F block was replaced with a '78? 2F block rebuilt with new pistons, cam, oil pump. Crank and rods balanced.
The idea for this combo came from Mark Whatley on the Land Cruiser mailing list. 74F head on a 2F block bumps the compression to about 9.5 to 1.
Other goodies in the rebuild, header, custom exhaust, Weber carb, she pulls very hard for a 2F.
At the same time I put custom long springs from Alcan (5" lift), shackle reversal in...
1970 Toyota Landcruiser mechanically strong, almost rust-free (minor rust in usual areas: rear quarters), but needs paint job and hard top to complete the ride. Bought with intention of restoring completely, but never spent the time to do so. Driven very little: new engine has <5,000 miles. Comes with bikini top—no hard top.
