I'd keep the winch you've got. Coil shocks... Won't fix a saggy tail, unless you mean a 4-link rear suspension. I'd get some new rear springs... Or take a step back, plan, plan, plan, and then build.

Put in a fan shroud!

Kind of s*** quality but it's better than nothing. Something has to happen to keep this 350 cool in the summer...

I'm under the impression a deep shroud, with the fan half-in and half-out of it is the best fan shroud/clutch fan option.

Yea, that's what I've found as well searching the forums. Hopefully this does the trick this year. Never got amazingly overheated (spewing coolant) but climbed the temp gauge to the point where I got a little nervous (205-210).

Seized my motor....

A very sad day. I just finished installing my new Trollhole carb and dizzy... you know the rest. Rookie mistake to leave my guage cluster dangling and not check oil pressue. Dizzy shaft not fully inserted into oil pump slot. This hurts so bad....

About 5 minutes. I turned it off... was running fine in my driveway. Then when I attempted to start it again "CLUNK!!!", it was over.

Yep, sorry to hear. It happens. :frown:

If you only had it idling in the driveway, the damage may not be too bad. You may find that you only need to clean up a few bearing surfaces and install some new bearings. Or you can find yourself a runner and drop it in there.

Gonzo that 40 is looking good man, glad you dug her out of the garage!

My next step is to drop the pan and look inside. If the rod bearing damage is minimal I'm gonna start there. I'm in Artesia NM. I think I found a good machine shop in Carlsbad, "Big Johns".
