Looks like you did great!
Finished my EBrake overhaul Friday night and got her out and about over the weekend. So far not a drop of gear oil so maybe I found my TC drip.

Adjusted the rearview mirror, figgered out the column shift, took her out on the street, under her own power, for the first time in many years...on the nicest day too.

The gauge cluster wiring decided to let some smoke out, so i ripped the gauge cluster out. One of the terminal ends connected to the ammeter was covered in green corrosion, now crispy, and making contact with the gauge cluster housing now hot to the touch.
That terminal end got chopped off, replaced/crimped, slathered with dielectric grease, then wrapped in heat shrink.
I ended up taking the ammeter out, putting two layers of heat shrink around the bolts and adding some rubber isolation to help prevent accidental shorts.
one of the plastic washers was absent.
While I was in there I soldered on the board a bit to bridge some tears in the thin copper foil.
Also noticed that the rubber pads on the bottom feet of the gauge cluster were breaking up. Some heat shrink substituted well to prevent that metal to metal contact between the gauge cluster and the dash.

I never knew there are rubber sleeves on those feet, or is that a later model thing![]()
