Here's a pic of itas it is now:

Don't cry, it looks really good! I currently have 31's and think they look really natural on a stockish '40. With my Con-Ferr rack on, I just brush the garage's weatherstripping.

Finally got the fuse block mounted. Still have the flasher unit to mount and still have grommet work to do, a ton of water proofing, lots of sorting and running of what goes where, etc. As this thing is so far from original I went with an EZ Wiring 21 circuit unit and mounted the fuse block in the glove box as I wanted to try to get it as high as possible and (hopefully) out of any water. I figure if things goes well I will use a ton of sealer on the hood hinge bolts and under the hinge itself to do what I can to keep it all dry in there. (At least as dry as I can attempt).

It finally has its name since its been one damn near the entire time I have been working on it..................The Beast

Got my fender guards and my Specter brush guard installed. Repainted them with POR15 chassis black. Turned out okay I think. Gives it an old school look.

- Replaced my very leaky power steering res. with a new OEM one
- Drain and refill transmission ATF
- Replaced end link bushings
- Bought new engine belts (haven't done them yet)
- Bought new front window runs (haven't received them yet)
- Installed tow hitch wiring
- Touched up armour paint from last weekend's wheel

No one injured...crawled out and proceeded to winch it back on all 4 wheels.
luckily I have extra parts....maybe I will take care of the rusty back corners while its getting painted....

Might be time to upgrade the roll cage. Glad everyone is ok. I want to get a metel tech. I have full cage in mine but have to open doors to roll windows down because my front bar doesn't allow me to

Got my hard doors back on, just need to get the hard top back on now

Cut apart the drivers seat sliders (PO welded them together because they didn't slide) and replaced the sliders with CCOT after market. I had to widen the slider release bar by 6" to fit the stock seat mount hardware.
