Thanks for the mount tip @1911 ! Simple design, uses existing bolt holes, has a rubber pad underneath to protect the dash. Decent path to run hidden wiring. Looks like a winner to me. May have to pull the trigger on this! Two things added/done this morning:
Gamiviti dash accessory mount installed. I had been looking for a way to mount my phone on my dash, because my 20-year-old GPS that is mounted up next to the rear-view mirror is slowly sh!tting the bed. Gamiviti just came out with this dash mount, and it is perfect for me - made of heavy steel, nice powder coating, room for lots of stuff. It puts my phone at the perfect height; high enough to see it easily, not so high as to be in the way of my forward road vision. Reasonably priced for the quality of manufacture. Would definitely reccomend.

One of my Round Eyes headlights that I bought (from Georg at Valley Hybrids) 14 years ago finally gave up the ghost on high beam. Round Eyes are out of business/not made anymore, so I replaced them with some Koito E-code goodness. Was strictly plug 'n play as I had put in a custom headlight harness with relays and power straight from the battery back when I first installed the Round eyes.

So update on my coolant leak. I topped off my radiator on Thursday and yesterday used a borescope to try to pinpoint where the leak is coming from.Started my 40 today to make sure she’s running properly before converting to a sniper only to find out that I have antifreeze leaking underneath my bell housing.
This makes me sick to my stomach.

Plan on getting the UV dye today.UV dye and a bore scope makes finding leaks lots easier
Great job done with the headliner @mef0629 !
Took it to the shop!Great job done with the headliner @mef0629 !
Did you install it by yourself or brought it to a specialised shop?
PS. Heard that you cannot just glue it to the roof: a special tool is needed (like with the VW Beatle?), that even many shops don't have it...
I love my auburns...been running them for decades, and they're great for what I use them for.Auburn LSD

I wasn't happy with the way the supplied spacer fit. Lots of vertical space that left the button end of the axles only partially supported and more than double the end thrust allowable by Toyota. I had an old aftermarket spacer from @Downey but it was too large possibly due to manufacturing changes throughout the years. (Auburn makes these limited slips in house.)
After talking with Auburn a few times I decided to have this guy mill the oversized spacer down to what I considered acceptable. It's tough to get perfect measurements with feeler gauges until everything is fitted. I ended up deciding to reduce the overall height by an additional 0.010" which meant a bit of ham-fisted filing to rebreak the edges on one end. Not pretty but it will serve. Hopefully I've left enough clearance for heat expansion. I guess we'll find out in a few weeks when the 40 goes back on the road. At least I'm happy with the thrust clearances now.

I have to do this as well, but I have the window vents. Maybe I should leave this job to a body shop? Yours looks great.Replacing my door window track weather stripping runs with new track from City Racer and window felts. The biggest pain is removing the glass, but boy is it nice and snug now. Also got to evict a few more bugs and treat some rust spots. Unfortunately, they only had one of the outer felts, so I need to find one more.

I need to replace the rubber ones I just installed. They don't seal right at the top of the window.I have to do this as well, but I have the window vents. Maybe I should leave this job to a body shop? Yours looks great.

Auburn in the rears, lock rites in the fronts.I think it'll be just fine for my usage. I didn't want to run a full Detroit but wanted to stick with an auto-locker vs. something selectable. Rear only or do you have one in the front too?
