There was a great restored ‘72 frame on FB locally. I waited too long and someone scooped it up.

Wheel project on the '82 FJ40. I tracked down a set of the white late 40 wheels, had them powder coated and they turned out really nice. I also refinished the late FJ40 rear "T" center caps for the wheels. Since I'm on stock suspension I decided to go for some new 30x9.5 BFG KO2. Looking forward to getting them on the truck! Also a pic of the wheels as found.

Does powder coating make the metal rust resistent?

Not 100% sure, but I am sure it will live inside when not driving, and outlive me
