Yes it is four wheel drum brakes with the original setup. And before you ask why no front disk brakes and new axle, my first car in 1961 had drum brakes as did every car and truck I drove for the next 24 years. Now that I think about it, so did the tractors.

Mine is all drums and stops just fine, too. Just gotta dry them out a little after getting them wet.

After having it for just about 3 years I’m finally going to install the headliner! I’ve drilled and tapped the broken screws from my initial removal 4 years ago. And now I’m letting it smooth out a little.
Been working on swapping everything over to a serpentine drive, finalizing the Saginaw steering and installing a Taurus electric fan.
It'll lay out smoother if you can get it warmer... even put it out in the sun for a bit. Once you have it in place, fold half of it back, spread your glue over half of it, and let it tack up a bit before laying it in place. Lay it in place with minimal pressure in case you need to lift it off and reposition it. Once you're confident in its placement press it harder into the glue.
Patience is a virtue, and the end result will be worth it.

So. This happened today 
Found the tires on Simpletire for 20% off. Kenda Klever rt601 33/9.5/15 on stock steelies.
Was riding on 15 yr old KOs so my first impression is blown away happy. Fresh rubber, aaahhhh.
Everything about the handling is better. Gonna check alignment but feels great. Body roll feels better, not worse. Trying 35# of air.
This feels like going from 27" mtb to 29" mtb tires.
Can't wait to try them on the trails during the Chili Challenge down here in New Mexico.

Sand Hollow outside of St. George UT. All my “trail rigs” need work, so i took the creampuff. Put the tall skinny 35’s on it in lieu of the wide 37’s, and i dont think they are coming back off. So much easier to steer, drive, stop, get into….cant deny the look of the stock steelies either. Cant wait to bring the cralwer out here after some much needed attention and upgrades.
Could have used some more horsepower in the sand, but she made it to top of the world. All stock except spring over, tires, and wilwood front discs..

Yessir. I did the OME 2.5" lift. PO had extended shackles already but springs were flat, bushings toast, shackles bent.
I went with MED springs and it is too stiff. May have to pull a leaf on rear. Or load her up

NO RUB WHATSOEVER!
I seem to have full turn radius available w/out rubbing.
It hasn't been tested in flex yet.
Paid $1140 for all 5 tires. And bonus, i can still swing it away and open the rear lift hatch. Thought it might block it.

Picked up a '74 to bring back to life. It's been sitting since 2016. Looking forward to a new project.
