I think sand hollow is my happy place. Trails are so good and easy to access. Oh it’s not bad to look at either

Modified a pair of OE bumperettes for some flush mount Baja Design chaser lamps...inspired by The FJ Company and what they have done. POsted more pics over in the lighting sub-forum.
Ahhhh Walton County....will be moving there (Pointy Washington) in next 3-4 years in hopes to get my 40 on some trails just near the property we purchased.Slight carb adjustments for altitude needed near the summit, but still made it.

I concur. And so do all the other Californians who covid moved and ruined the affordability of this beautiful place. (Coming from a bitter Californian who loves CA but hates the people and politics). I’m hoping i can convince my parents that St George is where they need to retire to from the PNW so I can have a base up here to stay at and do more exploring. I have a feeling Sand Hollow is but a fraction of the adventure found around this area, its just the easiest and most popular.

In east Cobb just near Shallowford and Johnson Ferry. Looks like we had. Very similar rigs!

Finally got it going good now. It is going into learning mode and idling smooth. It's maintaining vac at 15-18 hg. Now on to finishing the exhaust and putting the passenger seat in and she will be ready for a test drive!

It's been 5 years since I took this apart. Anyone know where this bolts up to on the frame? I found a pic on here that showed it next to the motor on the drivers-side frame rail but non of the holes lined up. I almost think it went under the radiator but nothing lines up there either. 1979 FJ40...

Pulled the 4 speed out of my cruiser yesterday. The plan had been to install the h55 today, but found I had a small rear main leak and decided to not be dumb and to wait until next weekend and fix it and then install the h55. Also disconcerted that I will have to modify the transmission tunnel for the H55. I was hoping I wouldn't have to, but it's going to have to happen.
