Picked up a '74 to bring back to life. It's been sitting since 2016. Looking forward to a new project.
FJ60 axles, ARB air lockers front and back, SOA, 350 with Howell TBI, stock 4 speed and t-case, 4:56 gears. Should be fun.

Those rear double shackles are pretty custom looking. Looks to be a pretty capable rig! Sweet find.

Bringing it home - hopefully for the last time. Moved back to AZ, rehabbed a house, built a garage etc, etc, etc.... time to get back to business after 21 months in storage.

Sand Hollow outside of St. George UT. All my “trail rigs” need work, so i took the creampuff. Put the tall skinny 35’s on it in lieu of the wide 37’s, and i dont think they are coming back off. So much easier to steer, drive, stop, get into….cant deny the look of the stock steelies either. Cant wait to bring the cralwer out here after some much needed attention and upgrades.

Could have used some more horsepower in the sand, but she made it to top of the world. All stock except spring over, tires, and wilwood front discs..

I think sand hollow is my happy place. Trails are so good and easy to access. Oh it’s not bad to look at either

I concur. And so do all the other Californians who covid moved and ruined the affordability of this beautiful place. (Coming from a bitter Californian who loves CA but hates the people and politics). I’m hoping i can convince my parents that St George is where they need to retire to from the PNW so I can have a base up here to stay at and do more exploring. I have a feeling Sand Hollow is but a fraction of the adventure found around this area, its just the easiest and most popular.

I’m at Jamerson and Canton Rd. My dad had a house on Davis Rd that we moved into back in Jan 88 and he sold it last year. I have a different cruiser than what’s on my profile. It’s a light blue 74
Sounds like a meet up is in order!

Ahhhh Walton County....will be moving there (Pointy Washington) in next 3-4 years in hopes to get my 40 on some trails just near the property we purchased.
Cool. I had noticed your license plate in another thread and wondered. Maybe we’ll meet up one day.

Okaloosa 🤝🏽 Walton
There’s a bunch of us panhandle guys that need to meet up! Maybe we can really organize and have a good showing at the Rover Rally next spring.

It's been 5 years since I took this apart. Anyone know where this bolts up to on the frame? I found a pic on here that showed it next to the motor on the drivers-side frame rail but non of the holes lined up. I almost think it went under the radiator but nothing lines up there either. 1979 FJ40...
