The wife’s car has interior accent lights, well hold my beer…..wa la! This is temporary for now, I eventually will find a led rope that I can place up in the gutter so it’s truly an accent light. For now it’s ok, I used to run cab interior lights when I drove a truck for a living. Just enough so you didn’t feel you were solely in the dark but didn’t take away from the mirror view.

What? You don’t like “phat bottomed girls”? 🤣

In all honesty, I’m running a thinner tire on the Steelies too. I like the taller “thinner” tire for East Coast follow the ruts adventures.

Let the tire preference bombardments begin…😳
Nobody likes boney chicken wings.

Or fat tires on FJ40's!

Need to swap out a brake light switch that was acting up.
Decided since I had the cluster out I would be able to reach the wiper switch.
Since I have a fiberglass body and the wiper switch needs to be grounded to allow the washer function to work I needed to pull the switch and add a ground. Been putting this off for a year or so.
I pulled the switch, took it apart,

drilled and then installed a small screw in the side to attach the ground. Works great now.

Spring under and 37s? Need details
Yep…it was SOA until a few months ago. I needed new springs and decided to try and go for a low SUA with 37s. The rear is SOA with a traction bar.

I’m going to trim the fenders similar to this guys trim line

More and more 300s around here where I live these days.

4” front springs?

Man I know there are tons of purists here. But I love a good built rig.

Yeah, this was a rusted piece about 10 years ago that I’ve built over the years.

2.5” lift springs
1” longer than stock shackles
4 degree shims
Lowered bump stops
Lots of cutting to come for the front. The rear is already trimmed to fit.

Getting the 37s balanced today to try and cure the death wobble

You may already know of or have done this but I ended up taking my ride to a local Toyota dealership for a ‘road-force’ balancing……. It made a significant difference!

I had 37's with a 4" SUA lift on my '73 about 10 years ago. Never drove it on the road. I was doing a SOA and thought I would try them just to see if they would fit.

Been waiting on my Walmart battery to give it up……. lasted 9 years! Decided on a Toyota TrueStart lifetime battery since I had a $25 coupon 🤑
I had a cleaned up tray ready to go and ended up pulling the mount to wire brush, prime and paint (kinda PITA to do)
