In all honesty, I’m running a thinner tire on the Steelies too. I like the taller “thinner” tire for East Coast follow the ruts adventures.

Yep…it was SOA until a few months ago. I needed new springs and decided to try and go for a low SUA with 37s. The rear is SOA with a traction bar.Spring under and 37s? Need details

Man I know there are tons of purists here. But I love a good built rig.
You may already know of or have done this but I ended up taking my ride to a local Toyota dealership for a ‘road-force’ balancing……. It made a significant difference!
I had 37's with a 4" SUA lift on my '73 about 10 years ago. Never drove it on the road. I was doing a SOA and thought I would try them just to see if they would fit.4” front springs?
