Here you go…one tube is all you should needDo you have a part number/ vendor for the sealant you used? I am in the middle of the same project. Rivets should be arriving today, then put it all back together.

Mine is all drums and stops just fine, too. Just gotta dry them out a little after getting them wet.1969 FJ40
Replaced:
Brake master
Hard and soft lines
Wheel cylinders (8)
Clutch slave and soft line
2 - 3 way fittings (thanks Mark)
Yes it is four wheel drum brakes with the original setup. And before you ask why no front disk brakes and new axle, my first car in 1961 had drum brakes as did every car and truck I drove for the next 24 years. Now that I think about it, so did the tractors.
Stops just fine!
Slight carb adjustments for altitude needed near the summit, but still made it.

Pup’s first ride in the 40
It'll lay out smoother if you can get it warmer... even put it out in the sun for a bit. Once you have it in place, fold half of it back, spread your glue over half of it, and let it tack up a bit before laying it in place. Lay it in place with minimal pressure in case you need to lift it off and reposition it. Once you're confident in its placement press it harder into the glue. After having it for just about 3 years I’m finally going to install the headliner! I’ve drilled and tapped the broken screws from my initial removal 4 years ago. And now I’m letting it smooth out a little.

So. This happened today
Found the tires on Simpletire for 20% off. Kenda Klever rt601 33/9.5/15 on stock steelies.
Was riding on 15 yr old KOs so my first impression is blown away happy. Fresh rubber, aaahhhh.
Everything about the handling is better. Gonna check alignment but feels great. Body roll feels better, not worse. Trying 35# of air.
This feels like going from 27" mtb to 29" mtb tires.
Can't wait to try them on the trails during the Chili Challenge down here in New Mexico.

Stumbled on the Simpletire deal! Thanks!!Thanks for posting that, those are just the tires I have been looking for to replace the super wide ones that are on mine. Nice looking LC BTW!
Is your rig lifted? If not, are there any rubbing issues? So. This happened today

Yessir. I did the OME 2.5" lift. PO had extended shackles already but springs were flat, bushings toast, shackles bent.Is your rig lifted? If not, are there any rubbing issues?
Those rear double shackles are pretty custom looking. Looks to be a pretty capable rig! Sweet find.Picked up a '74 to bring back to life. It's been sitting since 2016. Looking forward to a new project.
FJ60 axles, ARB air lockers front and back, SOA, 350 with Howell TBI, stock 4 speed and t-case, 4:56 gears. Should be fun.
