Where did you get your front turn signal markers???
Are they signals, or just lights - or both?

PuKe ... They are smoked Mercedes G500 fender lights, you can get these as just indicator turning lights and as both turning and driving lights
The LED side marker lights are also from a G500

Cheers
Steve

Put on passenger side quik hinge. Took 4 hours. Might have been the hardest thing I’ve do to the old girl . All I can say is patience I love the hinges. And great job matt. @69LC nice work.

Hard top going into paint...
Spent a few hours sanding and priming. Did a final 400 wet sand.

Shot 3 coats of single stage paint a couple hours ago.

I'll have some pics in color tomorrow... :)

Took it out and used it like I wanted all these years. I had some light mechanicals and it’s far from ready for hardcore stuff. It was miles of smiles last two days.
We’ve only run a 1/3 of steelbender twice now, due to time limits. I’ve loved every minute of it- good friends and old rigs.

Yeah we have been talking about this for twenty years. Life got in the way for to long, but we had a good push over the last year.
The bronco is a beast:
Rear spool/front lunch box
37” bead locks
Beat enough not to worry

The blazer is nice:
75 body with square body front clip
Too nice of paint

Mine
Breaking little stuff, but having a great time.

Years ago, back when I had stock drivetrain, I went on a run with a full size Bronco, and a Chevy Blazer. I made it up the hill climb, nick named locker hill, without much trouble with open diffs. The blazer, with a rear LSD, gave up after 4 or 5 attempts. The Bronco’s owner was determined not to be shown up by a 40... his rear 3rd had a different plan. On about his third attempt there was a loud bang. His four wheeling day was over and he had to accept defeat. Regrettably he had to accept a tow back to the campsite. He ended up limping it home after pulling the rear shaft... like an old dog with his tail between its legs. :(

Threw the painted hard top sides on just to take a look...

Not too shabby ...

Took Olive for a run to work, then some poser shots in the woods. Possibly the last ride of the year. Might be a good thing because the ignition switch failed at the base of the hill up to the house and she died. I rigged it to get her to the garage.

Are those insulated concrete forms behind the step ladder?

No. 3000lb legos the plant casts with leftover concrete. 2ft tall, 6ft long, 2ft deep. They only cost $35 apiece. Cheap retaining wall that isn't going to move. That whole side of my parking area has been an erosive pita. Doing a wall and building a carport/top deck that will be tall enough to pull a Cruiser with a roof top tent under.

Had the 75 out trying to put some miles on after a fresh JimC rebuild. Pulled my other junk out of the garage for a quick clean as well.
The neighbors think we were having a “Jeep” gathering. I don’t like my neighbors...

Took it to the local orchard. Not exactly hard core but at least I can say it has been off-road now...:p

The truck is running great. I managed to put about 1000miles on the new 350 this summer - which is collectively more miles than have put on the 40 in the last 5 years. I’ll probably check the plugs, drain the oil, and compression test it before the 12mo warranty runs out this January.

I was planning to start tackling the bodywork this winter but my freshly rebuilt transfercase has sprung a pretty serious leak, so it’s going to probably have to come down and get resealed over the winter.
