I’m feeling accomplished this week. I got my windshield wiper motor rebuild completed and everything works. They were dead and ugly...now working and look good!

Not as must rust on this side. But still finding rust under PO paint repairs. So stripping it down to make sure it's done right.

I should have taken before pics. There was about an inch of filler in the rocker panel and lower cowl piece. After removing the filler it was evident that PO did not attempt to get the metal as straight as possible before loading it up with bondo. I tried to get it back in shape but the rocker will need a patch. Front cowl is getting there. Lots of red dirt coming out as I try to beat it back into submission. PO must have wheeled this near OKC...

Continued with interior makeover.

Reupholstered the seats but left the frames alone.

Painted and installed the gas tank cover.

I think a good blend of old and new...

Rear ended at a red light on way home from work..... flipping lucky - it was a semi that couldn’t quite STOP!

Toyota held it’s own though..... and I was able to drive her home!

Today I got the engine home and in the truck. Had to battle with a stone age engine hoist from the local hire center but got there in the end.

Got my third NATO gas can and mount and bolted all the mounts in. With the Tuffy boxes, there is just enough room for all of it to fit— blind luck.
