Been busy removing and repainting the windshield, the sill, hinges, installing a @Coolerman windshield harness, putting a @Racer65 windshield base weatherstip down. Threw some countersunk stainless hardware on it as well. Took me a while but it looks pretty slick now.

Think I spent more time looking for the right bolts then any thing else.

Installed a toggle switch for the aux lighting.

It was immediately clear that it didn't look appropriate. So I bought an oem switch and labeled the wires.

Looks a lot better now.

I've got an interloper in my driveway...

It's a 1980 from the same shop that did mine. They are having me road-test it and put together the punchlist of items to straighten out to button up the restoration. Fun times! Other than the lack of AC and 110F temperatures.

Removed the old, tired battery positive and ground cables. The wire was starting to separate from the clamp and the clamps were tough to get off the battery posts. Went to NAPA and found some military style clamps, purchased new cables, cleaned and reattached existing grounds and switched everything this morning. Looks better, will be easier to disconnect or add to the circuit. Opinions and/or suggestions appreciated.

The AC is finally done and I was able to install the passenger seat. Next up is a trip to the body shop for the final cut and buff along with a headliner install.

@Vossie thanks! I agree on the air box. There's just no room for one.

Improving my cheap bead roller.

Making a stand for it.

And used the English wheel to straiten out the old fender before cutting out the cancer.
It straitened out in 10 minutes from some bad dents and folds.

Getting it back together from its rattle can paint job. It's hard to work on it with wife, work, home upkeep pulling in all directions, she doesn't think staying home with cruisers is fun on her off day so I have to hang out at target and argue with curtain rods. I usually spend about an hour twice a week working on it. 90 degree temps keep me from spending more time on it, Florida has lots of good things but cool basements aren't one of them.

Don't worry. I may be from Alabama but the wood is not going in as a winch plate. It's there in case the bibb fell forward with the headlights as it was installed

Finished up a jump seat project I've been working off and on for a while now. I wanted to replace the OEM jump seats with something a little more comfortable and safer for my kids, but didn't want to go with a rear bench. So I modified some LR Discovery jump seats and am pretty happy with how they turned out. They retain the look of the original jump seats when folded up, but offer forward seating when in use. Took a little trip to the lake to test them out.

@jetranger Thanks for the complimet, after chasing down a 79' bib, grill and bezel for my 78' truck I was able to fit it in front of the radiator. With a 12HT in a 40 series you run out of room quickly in that area. There are sevral pictures of this evolution in my build thread if you need more visuals/information.
