Dual doors is a great ideaand much more user-friendly
@LandCruiserPhil Isn't that similar to the 200 series design? I thought I saw one at the dealership and it looked like the included tool kit was built into one of the two dual doors. I really liked that idea and have been waiting on someone to bring that to the 100 series platform!

Most times the drain bolt just needs replacing. It's softer metal then pan threads. Try running a grease coat (catches metal particles) tap of correct OEM size into pan threads to clean up. Then install new OEM drain plug bolt with gasket (washer).
Time to upgrade to the TrailGear spindle lock nut system and put an end to a wearing claw washers
I'm curious about this. When you have a moment, would you mind sharing some details?
Removed the running boards, and she looks great.

I would love to remove those fender flares (the are seriously in the way), but the paint is grooved underneath from 15 years of rubbing. I looked, and it is not pretty under there.Remove the fender flares, you'll love it even more!
Finalized the prototype attic rack.
Shown rack fits late model 100 series

Installed a set of 30mm Bora spacers.
These pushed the narrowish 275/70-18 K02's outward toward the wheel well quite nicely. Took a quick spin to test; steering input feels better, maybe a little less body roll with the wider track. I'll do a hwy test tomorrow after the locktite sets up.

@abuck99
Looking at your photos it appears that the BORA spacers are actually hubcentric (Fronts are machined to fit around the front hubs properly).... I was under the (mis)information that only the SLEE/Spidertrax wheel spacers were "truly" hubcentric.
This is an interesting bit of news!!! I was planning to buy a set of the BORA spacers but then got scared off thinking that they might not be quite as good as the Spidertrax ones and I'd end up with a bunch of front-end shimmies and vibrations.
I'd love to hear more feedback once you've had a chance to drive them on the highway and evaluate!!!
