@LandCruiserPhil Isn't that similar to the 200 series design? I thought I saw one at the dealership and it looked like the included tool kit was built into one of the two dual doors. I really liked that idea and have been waiting on someone to bring that to the 100 series platform!

Depends on costs. Just in the R&D phase now. I've trashed many hopes over the past few years because they are just too expensive.
I hope this one will be cost effective.

Tried that but the plug and threads were both destroyed so it had to come off. Oh well, no harm, no foul. Just a lot of sweating.

Great product, many have problems setting front bearing pre-load and working with the factory star locking washer and locking nut. This new set up makes setting the pre-load on the front wheel bearing easier and less chance of the bearing loosening up once set up properly. Been around for years used in high performance application mostly. I have used them on my 80 for a while and recently ordered a set to upgrade my LX470. Can do a replacement/installation write up if there is interest.
Removed the running boards, and she looks great.
Remove the fender flares, you'll love it even more!
I would love to remove those fender flares (the are seriously in the way), but the paint is grooved underneath from 15 years of rubbing. I looked, and it is not pretty under there.
Installed a set of 30mm Bora spacers.
These pushed the narrowish 275/70-18 K02's outward toward the wheel well quite nicely. Took a quick spin to test; steering input feels better, maybe a little less body roll with the wider track. I'll do a hwy test tomorrow after the locktite sets up.

Looking at your photos it appears that the BORA spacers are actually hubcentric (Fronts are machined to fit around the front hubs properly).... I was under the (mis)information that only the SLEE/Spidertrax wheel spacers were "truly" hubcentric.
This is an interesting bit of news!!! I was planning to buy a set of the BORA spacers but then got scared off thinking that they might not be quite as good as the Spidertrax ones and I'd end up with a bunch of front-end shimmies and vibrations.
I'd love to hear more feedback once you've had a chance to drive them on the highway and evaluate!!!

Thanks- Yes the Bora spacers are Hub-and-Wheel centric, and the front spacers are machined to fit around the front hubs correctly. Hardware is included- the lugs are grade 10.9, slightly longer than the stock lugs but not too long. Made in USA with lifetime warranty- @ $55ea. They are made to order, so expect to wait a few weeks. They can be found online at motorsport-tech.
I dont have any 1st hand experience with Spidertrax (Its probably a good quality product or Slee wouldn't carry them) but they've been backordered for a while and I moved on to this option. Time will tell, but I felt it was a good alternative. Close friend owns a rover repair shop, and has been using Bora for several years on customer rigs and his own- no complaints. He's the one who recommended them to me.
