Traakon thank you for the tips - and robust gallery of photos, nice bikes btw. Hope your hand heals ok. Looks like you have a great work space.

Thanks for the comment. I like to contribute a little here and there and with so much information available on the site sometimes its the little things that need some spotlight. Like the little bit on how to get the boots off the shocks in another thread. Searched the site and the web and could not find an "Here is how I done it" so thought I'd share.

As for the thumb...carpet knife bifurcated the thumb and thumbnail when I thought I had the utility knife and needed to add some pressure to make a cut. What's a weekend in the shop without a little blood to go with the sweat.

I have the 'cruiser in my bike shop right now because I am framing and insulating the interior of my truck shop. So many projects and so little me :).

Thanks again for the comment.

Got really stupid and decided to do the head gasket and timing set as PM before summer....nobody warned me it would take so much time and swearing. Probably wouldn't be so bad if I weren't fixing and trying to figure out other people's stupidity along the way.

Finally finished the wheel carrier build and swapped my clear projectors for black ones and front and side orange indicators for clear ones :):cool:

Sharp! Looking forward to the trail results.

Did you decide against limit straps?

What was your final tab in the end?

Yeah that empty tab you see near the panhard is for the limit straps. Just haven't bolted them in yet.

What was your final tab in the end?

I'd say all in it was about $5k including the Hellfire knuckles, manual Aisin hubs and misc brackets and hardware (shock towers, lower shock mounts).

Saw this and think I need this on the back window...I have NO IDEA what it actually is but it was in the basement of a University building and I imagine it as a chair you sit in and push a button shooting you out to safety! :)

Haha it is the chair they use to get handicap people down stairs when the elevators are shutdown during emergencies. But shooting people out is cool too! lol.

I like my idea better. Not that I have anything against saving disabled people. I just think it would be cool to shoot people out of buildings. Or Land Cruisers. :)
