Are you referring to the Fumoto valve? Without a skid plate I don't want to put one on due to it hanging down. Wish I could.

That and the 90 degree adaptor for the filter. I don't recall seeing anyone's bashed in 80 oil pan so I'm not worried even a tiny little bit. I'd have to land on a spire to do damage.

My Cummins oil filter already points down it's just huge. Had to stab it to drain it before removal so it didn't spill out all over me when removing from the bottom.

..... Also need to build a catch can or reroute the cc vent tube so I don't get oil dripping out on my sway bar bushing.

Ya, Whats up with that, is that a stupid design or what.
Let me know what you do so I can copy it:flipoff2:

After you get it loose by turning it the right way;), slide a large zip-lock bag over it, remove it, and you wont even get your hands dirty. Dont know if it possible for you but mine can come out the top.

Solved my audio problem. Aftermarket speakers in rear doors - screws touching/grounding DRS rear door metal faulting out HU and has seized door lock motor. It's been 3 months of troubleshooting every now and then to get here. Took speakers out for now and audio is working just peachy. Started trying to get door panel off to get door able to be opened again and decided to tackle another day.

I'm overdue for a valve adjustment. Someone please find the words to motivate me.....

Testing my sears DHP 31m battery with my arb 50Q fridge, third day so far at 16F. That also means I haven't done anything else besides letting it sit. I want to see how much longer but I am already really happy with the result since my old Kirkland battery only last about 26 hours or 1 day max in the same condition.

Also got a deal we could not refuse on wife's new DD.

Saw something similar in my driveway and you just HAD to have one didn't you? :flipoff2:

LOL!

Almost, this is the CT200 so not nearly as fun as your IS. Reason being wife didn't like the rear of the IS and she drives 140 miles each day commuting so a fancy Prius will have to do.

Oh yeah it looks nice and fast especially with the F sport package but it is as slow as ......well a Prius.

Main battery, no other modifications except for the new battery hold down and trimming of the structural fins on the 31m.

Just checked the fridge, still going strong at 16F at around 72 hour mark. Fridge is empty(had couple of lbs of frozen fish I was suppose to give to my buddy for couple of days) and the car is in the sun in the afternoon in 80+ degree weather. Yes the fridge doesn't have anything to chill or cool down but when I go camping I usually pre-freeze or chill all items ahead of the time anyways.

This is to confirm my original thought that I don't need second battery except for emergency jump which I could carry a quality portable jumper that can also be used as portable power. So as much as the second battery project is tempting I don't really see a real use for it. It is also easier to jump others with the portable battery pack than trying to line up 2 rigs especially in difficult situations like side of the road or narrow trails.

Didn't measure amp but been sitting at 12.4V the entire time.

Roll the window down, shine a bright flashlight in the top of the door, and start manipulating the mechanism with a long screwdriver or homemade hook tool. You'll eventually find the right combination of pushing & pulling to get it open.

Is it hardwired or are you using a 12V plug? Are you also running an inverter to power other things?

I ran battery power to the back so 12v socket for convenience.

I'll start a thread later today with my setup like you suggested to not clog up this threat. :)

Took Lou's awesome Console Panel he had done and used it as inspiration for mine - I took this:

And turned it into this:

Drove to the North trail head of Heiko's hiking trail. When we arrived a massively loud avalanche let go to greet us. Had to bushwhack the first half of the trail because it became a river. Only went up to the top of the first waterfall since 3 year old was leading the way. One amazing hike. PM me if you ever need a lift doing the whole one way hike.

Took her to the beach
