Finally finished this thing. Very happy with the results and look forward to using it next week on our 10 day trip. First stop, Moab!
Looks great! don't get stuck on steep incline or somewhere with your junk in there to recover ya.
Sheesh....I guess there is a downside to everything. I never even thought of that scenario. Guess I can put certain recovery essentials in the side panels, just in case.
I'll start a thread when it's complete with photos from start to finish.
Should be done with the welding this weekend and I'm hoping to get it in the booth by the end of the week.

All the OBA goodies will be moved down below and a low profile relay box will be lasered out with either the Land Cruiser text of the Teq logo (haven't decided yet)

There are a couple of bad spots that I'll probably re-coat eventually. Nobody would ever see them though so I'm not in a big hurry to take care of it.
With the money I'm getting for the sale of my fender flairs I'll be buying a gallon of sans panties to fill in the middle. I put 5 coats down and still had about 1/3rd of the gallon left. I just got tired of rolling this stuff on.

Combustion leak test (no head gasket issues)
Prepping diffs and t case bolts with PB blaster for removal. Will put in royal purple
Ordered new bolts and gaskets for the above
Fixed some body trim

I wanted to feel like I was wheeling since other people had more domesticated plans
Used the 5 gallon bucket method to change the oil. Then had one of those moments trying to take off the oil filter. After 30 minutes of struggling from the top of the engine I realized I was tightening it. I guess all the years of taking it out from the bottom got me confused. Also need to build a catch can or reroute the cc vent tube so I don't get oil dripping out on my sway bar bushing.

Are you referring to the Fumoto valve? Without a skid plate I don't want to put one on due to it hanging down. Wish I could.Or do what I did:
