Got a full size Baja rack from some local classifieds today. Also installed a solar pulse charger / maintainer with fused power distribution block.

The gray box by the fire wall on the DS is the box that controls everything. There is a solar panel I will post a pic up of if anyone wants to see it...
I want to see it...how many watts is it??

I will take a few photos of it tomorrow. The panel itself is a bit bigger then an iPad. When I was hooking it up It was about 20 min to sunset and overcast. Was putting out 36 watts at that time. Haven't measured it since.

Flushed my cooling system and added fresh Toyota Red.

I had forgotten how much of a pain in the a$$ this was. Messy, time consuming when flushing multiple times, and expensive for that Toyota Red! I keep telling myself to switch to the green stuff, but can never bring myself to do it.

It had been two years since my last flush. This time, I noticed some grey particulates floating on the top of the radiator. For the next service, I think I might only wait a year before changing my coolant out to see if it looks any better.

Here is the actual panel. Pretty overcast so not able to get a good reading for the output. The corners of it have holes that I went to Walmart and got some suction cups for so I can mount it to the glass or other smooth surfaces. Or just attach a couple hooks and hang it from the rack or something. That way I can move it in the direction of the sun rather then having to make sure the vehicle has to be parked a certain way all the time.

Got a new one...

TJM bumpers/tire carrier, Slee sliders, IPF lights, Safari snorkel, OME 3" lift, BFG 285's, etc.

Very excited to be back in the LC owners club, been 1 1/2 years without one. Had several 40's, 60's and 100's but no 80's until now.

New Denso plugs, this weekend, and cleaned the MAF and OEM air filter while I was in there.

Oh, and installed my newly recovered in leather tranny shift knob. Ahh, that feels nice. :grinpimp:

After trying for hours to jump the 80 and charging the battery I gave up trying to start it and went to Sears to purchase a new battery. Installed the new battery and it started instantly!

Took her camping, wheeling. Went to find snow, but there's almost no snow what so ever

I managed to let the driver side tire fall into a hole again today - haven't seen the pics yet

took a lot of rock stacking to fill in the washout, which netted one bloody hand - then a safety strap on the hillward passenger side of the truck to keep it from sliding further into the crevasse - thanks John (inkpot)
