About 90% sure that is the blue.
Got the bed skins tacked on. Cut out the wheel wells.....may adjust if needed. Ran out of time and daylight so, I will roll it out tomorrow to inspect.
So far, I am happy with the proportions.
Is the knuckle still assembled? You’re probably pushing it past the axle seal and into the housing if so. I don’t think you’re going to see grease coming from the knuckle balls. Needs a proper knuckle service.
Yeah that was still using jumper cables. I was trying to avoid taking the battery out of my 80. After this video I pulled the battery and hooked it up with proper leads and it turns over much better. Not sure my oil pump is doing its thing...
Ok. Can’t figure out how to imbed a video but the engine ran today. First start in 20 years. As soon as I dropped the pertronix in the dizzy she fired right up. This girl wants a second chance at life!
Been slacking the last few days.......fixed my mess up tonight. Roughed in the corner radius piece. Out with the wrong and in with the correct. Much better now.
Did a little work on the hubs from the donor axle. Wouldn’t you know it would start raining as soon as I sprayed them. Oh well. I can spray them again. These will go back with new hardware as well.
I hooked up the coil and dizzy but I’m not getting a spark. Should have time to mess with it tomorrow. If not I’ll just wait for the pertronix and try again. I plan to do all the regasketing and engine painting with it in the frame as I don’t own...
It turns over easy enough by hand. I’m going to pull the battery out of my 80 and connect it directly to the starter. I was using jumper cables and I think there is just too much resistance/voltage loss
