Does anyone have a good tool for dropping the spare tire from the OEM location, hopefully a single piece for garage use?

I'm sick of using the multi-piece tool out of the emergency kit every time.
I use the tool that came with my scissor jack. Slots in and works fine.

Now he can make the drive back home.

Oh and got an interview in for the podcast.

I found a spot where the O2 harness that was touching the front driveshaft that caused a short and popped the 15a EFI fuse. It is now wrapped and secured safely away to hopefully avoid that in the future.

Yeah... that's what I use, but it means having to get the emergency kit out, putting the rods together, dealing with the bolts that are eager to scratch your bumper, and putting it all away. I'd much rather have a single-piece tool in my garage that I could whip out and drop the spare, maybe even drill-driven.

There has to be a better way...

What store carries the Toyota filters?
Toyota OEM filters from Walmart.

They are cheaper at the dealership but that's a 20 mile commute. Walmart is 5 minutes away.

That's my next job, OEM tailpipe. I've been reading up and see a lot of people struggle to spin it in through a crossbeam. Any advice or tips while it's fresh in your mind?
The way to get it through is to lift up the rear end to get the right angle and you will be able to get it threaded through.

Just waiting for the seat rails to arrive…

You either still living with your parents or not married. Either way I'm super jealous!!! 🤑
🤣😂🤣
I have an awesome wife and daughter that love the 80 as much as I do.

Before we were married, wife and I would roam the Sierra Nevada, climbing and skiing the backcountry with our dogs, sleeping in the back. Too many memories in the 80! Now that we are in our 50s, my back deserves something nice after nearly 20 years of ownership.
