s***ty pic,
But the bolt from the stock panhard location is in
The bolt the goes true the bracket and rear up arm is half way in, but coming out it is not lining up, the bracket hole and rear upper bracket hole ate aligning, but the bolt coming out of the bushing is not.
I tried using a ratchet strap to bring the axle back, forward and sideways and nothing seams to work 😅😅😅
I used a pry bar to move it into position. Try that. And if you need help let us know. There are a lot of us in the seattle area.

@Broski suggestion is great too. A strap might move into position

Depends, this is the correction I have and it plugs into the TC

I don't have this.

Thanks!!

All got done now.
I released the parking brake, and tighten a ratchet strap past what I thought it was a lot, and that did it!
Ended up that I was just being "too gentle" with the strap, lets filed that under lessons learned!

Direct swap from what year? Looks good!
Thanks! Yes, swapped directly on. It was a 10-15 on. It came with the back trim, cruise switch, horn switch parts. I was planning on swapping mine over but the cruise switch on this looked/felt brand new so I left it. Everything plugged right in and works like it should.

It was listed as fitting a 1996-1998 LS. Reading some other threads on here it seems like there may be additional years that fit as well.

With 5/29s, 10% under drive in the transfer case and 39s the speedo is spot on 😂

-Adjusted my parking brake(installed new rotors recently but didn’t have time to properly setup p-brake then).
-removed both front door cards to check funny operation of passenger window and tighten loose outside door handle on driver side. Found broken glass in driver door and very poorly wired speaker. Also found missing bolt in the bottom of the door that was causing loose handle and put it back. Found severed wire to speaker in passenger door and repaired it. Hadn’t even noticed speaker wasn’t working, lol. Found a few of the bolts for the window mechanism loose and tightened them.
The more I dig into this 80 the more suspect stuff I find…not sure if it’s age related or prior damage that has been repaired. Either way, this thing will keep me busy whether I want to have projects or not! Haha
Oh, and a couple of pics from target practice recently with the 80 watching😁

Got the Trail-Gear spindle locking nuts on. I'm not sold on them. Required some filing of the top nub on the locking ring. They'll work just fine however.
Check that the screws they provide clear your flange mine did not, I have thread of the screws you need.

16” .223 built with Seekins billet upper/lower, rock creek barrel, geiselle trigger. Nightforce 1-8x on top. Thunderbeast 30P-1 can on the end. It’s my favorite all around gun. I was shooting a 240yd target and a 455yd target that day.
Sounds like a great build. I am actually thinking of swapping out one of my 556 barrels on one of my SBRs to a 12.5 6mm ARC barrel from Noveske. Noveske has a new gun coming out with at 12.5 6mm ARC that they have taken out to 1K yards.

Thanks for the heads up. Believe they've been sending the new pan head screws for quite some time now. Mine were, at least.
