I pulled my 93 LC out of the garage (after an 8 year hibernation) and had it towed to the shop to get the head gasket replaced. I'm very excited to get this vehicle back into service.
How did the cylinder walls look after a 8 year hibernation ?

The Lutz speedo calibrator is great. It's so easy.

I've also got a Yellow Box speedo calibration. It was frustrating to setup and I couldn't get it to work right. I ended up removing it.
The yellow box doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Am I correct that the Lutz will adapt to whatever gears I may have? It's just "whatever's there" +/- 1/2% per button push?

Yes, ±0.5% incremental speed adjustments.

I just bought it and installed it but haven't driven with it yet.

It is a nice bit of kit. Plugs in the middle between the harness and speed sensor.

installed the LCP sway bar discos... am I right in thinking that the newer triangular design is to allow for drilling a hole for fitment if your lift geometry is making things not line up? 4" ironman lift.

I'm surprised that you are that far off...I don't have a block as tall as yours, but mine lines right up with the slightest motion on the sway bar pivots when you rotate it up to connect to the disconnect brackets. That said, I don't see why you can't just drill holes that match your needs.

Maybe @LandCruiserPhil has some input/thoughts.

Sounds like your Swaybar joints are frozen. When your Swaybar is disconnected it should move freely front to back and side to side.

In June of 2020, on my first off road excursion with the 80, I got some battle scars on my wheels, one of them in particular was worse than the others.

In July of 2021 I found a scratch and dent from SCS for a discount price, so I bought it.

Today, end of February of 2025, just a few days later, I got it swapped and installed on the car!

So we can say things are moving fast over here!

ive always wondered why Toyota didnt adopt the same locking mechanism as the rear wheel bearing adjusters on the front.

next time i repack mine am going to see if theres the possibility to do so
There's not enough room inside the front hub and drive flange for the rear locking rings.

@COS80
I just installed my new Lutz kit last night.
Took about an hour because I had trouble unplugging my original harness due to tar, gravel, and other debris caked on the plug.

I knew my number was 5% so as soon as I had it connected, poked it 10 times, installed the cover, and drove it. Right on the money.
