Should I have people guess? Or give away my secrets 😂?
Obviously, you don’t have to give up your secrets
I was just trying to put a market value on something similar with a seized motor.
Hard to put a price on something that doesn’t run

Does it not look safe to you ?
It looks like the support columns are part of the walls to me.
Nice setup, wish I had something like that in my shop !

They are, and the columns are filled with concrete and rebar. Each of the columns is capped with a 3/8" thick plate of steel. I've lifted 2,000 lbs. with no noticeable deflection.

A couple of things…

Took the ol’ girl out towards the Swift Reservoir and then some forest roads to the south side of Mt. Saint Helens.

The change in light was DRAMATIC for both photos being 20 min apart.

I also picked up some more switches from the junkyard this weekend…the idea being that I don't like NON-OEM switches; I want it to look as close to factory as possible so I found the fog light switch from a mid-90's camry and an early 00's Scion aB. The idea being that when the ARB front bumper is installed, I'll have an OEM switch for front lights, and rear bumper lights also.
I ALSO picked up a second set of the Hi/Lo heated seat switches from a 2000 Lexus ES300 which will go into my center console coin holders (but they need minimal dremmeling, about 1mm on each side to slide in and fit)

Drove from Minneapolis/St.Paul down to Kansas City, Mo to check out a 1997 CE with lockers! I was pretty excited about making the 450-mile drive (one-way) it was not to be. Really a good price but had rust on the rockers below the rear doors. Actually tho other than that the frame was super nice. It looked like someone tried a restoration or something. I am sure someone would love to have it. So if anyone needs info about it let me know.

Installing a Delta VS center console and gear shift assembly. Been wanting them for a long time and finally pulled the trigger.

Quick question, which color of the attached does everyone think would be closest match to the 80 series grey leather interior? Charcoal or Grey? My steering wheel is shot and I want to cover it.

I'm finishing up my two other jeep builds so starting to really focus on the 80 this year. Going to overhaul the exhaust, suspension, links, modify the ARB bumper and other misc items like the door cards, quarter windows.

Here's the start to the front axle.
