Alubox from Equipt1. One is the pantry, the other tools and parts. They have been on the roof for the last 5 years/100k miles and holding as new.what kind of box is that on your roof rack?
thanks, but holymoly they are expensive. I would need to find something without the overland tax.Alubox from Equipt1. One is the pantry, the other tools and parts. They have been on the roof for the last 5 years/100k miles and holding as new.
When you walk to a Ferrari shop, you don't ask how much it cost, you ask "when can I get that red one"...thanks, but holymoly they are expensive. I would need to find something without the overland tax.
No. I just like to buy things once. That’s why I have an 80…Ofer has expensive taste!
Not personally, but after reading reviews on them and other brands I went with White-knuckle Off-Road sliders on my 80 and on my XTerraPro-4X.Anyone have the Rocky Road sliders on their 80? Any fitment issues when installing?
Disregard, they have it priced at $32K on their website. I'm sure the reserve price is at least that high.I used to own this, it essentially underwent a frame on full rebuild after I sold it. The entire interior, paint, and all accessories are all new. The wheels are terrible, but beyond that could be a good vehicle for someone.
Wish they had stuff like that on estate sales around here…. usually its mainly old dishes and garden tools… a lucky find would be a half used can of WD40 (and they would probably still want $5)
It was a retired guys shop and man was he set up probably 100k worth of matching equipment and two bridge cranes to move everything. Unfortunately I don’t have the room for a 12 foot metal lathe or that might have come home with me. They helped me load it and I used the engine hoist to support getting it out. I foresee a gantry crane in my near future! I have been shopping for used ones to pull drivetrains with, people just want to much for junk these days. I miss the old days of buying stuff for a reasonable price used but the internet has ruined that.Wish they had stuff like that on estate sales around here…. usually its mainly old dishes and garden tools… a lucky find would be a half used can of WD40 (and they would probably still want $5)
Edit: I hope you had help moving that press! They are h-e-a-v-y… ask me how I know!
People can't discern from their junk and their good stuff. So they see a car or a tool on the Internet like theirs and assume that's the price. It was a retired guys shop and man was he set up probably 100k worth of matching equipment and two bridge cranes to move everything. Nice score...I have the HF version and have found all kinds of uses over the years....multiple vehicle projects with gears for diffs & transfer case, tone rings on CV's, etc. Ironically, I haven't had to do bushings yet!
OEM wheels look much better.Shod it with 33’s on the OEM wheels.
Almost have most of the crappy tiny off as well.View attachment 3814640
