Not for an 80. Yes though, there is a shop in SoCal that will restore them with new foam and vacuum applied vinyl.

Coated the front NWTI bumper finally. Wasn’t a fan of the bare steel look. Would rather have an ARB but this one does the job haha.

Sprayed my WKOF sliders with Raptor coating.

Put it to work and hauled a load to the camp. Burning brush before fire ban hits in a few weeks.

A pre what did you do... Did yard work today but the plan is tomorrow rotate the tires and swap rear springs out and remove the 30mm spacers. Hopefully it will get my caster back into spec with the caster plates and reduce some of the vibration from the rear drive shaft.

Removed Toyota roof rack. Doesn’t look bad at all under the feet. A couple of the nutserts didn’t survive. For those I’m planning to patch the holes with aqua zone.

I chased a no crank, no start issue this week. In the end the culprit was a bad ignition switch but I replaced a number of parts that were aged and worth replacing. So now the truck has a new battery, new starter, new fusible link, new battery cables, new NSS plug and the ignition switch. Was a pain to trouble shoot but a good excuse to take care of some of the other stuff.

Checked that the wires were in good shape and replaced the housing.

Now the truck starts on the first blip of the key.

Any tips or tricks that you'd be willing to share for removing and reinstalling the headliner? I may need to drop mine to weld up holes from a roof rack.

I didn’t drop the headliner, just did a deep clean with it in place. But if you have a couple other people and you are careful, it shouldn't be too hard to to remove. Looks like only a few fasteners and removing the lip of the window surround rubber/gaskets. But that’s a lot of work for welding the roof rack holes. A lot of other options like water proof bolts or even filling with epoxy putty, the sanding and painting.

@CharlieS has a 94 model which has a completely different headliner than the 95-97. I would not recommend messing with the headliner on 91-94 models.

Hit some beautiful Sunday morning trails in around Rowher Flat. It was gorgeous out and with an 8am start, trails were empty almost the whole time we were there. Saw the Jeep instagram crew rolling in with their shiny catalog trucks as we were on our way out.
