Replaced rear hatch struts, no more bruised head shots😱

Measured lift gate for storage hatches😁

Sand hollow is blast. For cry'n out loud, air down ya lazy bastard!

This place is incredible. Wish it wasn’t a 14 hour drive from home. I got up that steep optional climb yesterday called “you gotta be nuts” on the maze trail. Last day here today and running front range.

The traction here is incredible. I’m aired down to 4psi in the back and 7 up front now so I can steer still.

The LC, CO, and HC were too high.

I also have a 94 and failed smog with high HC, running rich. Not sure how to fix but oh well.

Check your basics first. You have extra fuel and poorly burnt fuel. Timing, plugs, wires , dizzy rotor and air filter. After that check for exhaust leaks pre-02 then also possibly a bad 02 then cat.

There are other possibilities like leaking injectors and such, but above will be the most common for you.

Thanks for the input , appreciate it!! I will look into some/all of those.

This looks horrifying
Just a moment from disaster, just one more strike from failure...not an ideal removal, but I'll take it...

This is on my list that I keep avoiding because I dont know anything about our exhaust.

I adjusted my valves in the old 3fe and figured while I had the valve cover off, I would freshen it up with some high heat paint. (my valve cover had lots of chipping paint and surface rust that I sanded off). Now the 3fe looks and sounds like a top. Next on the list is Oil pan + pushrod inspection cover gaskets, pulleys, and new ome stock hight springs. Today's job is to take off the pushrod cover, replace the gasket then paint it to match! Taped it all up as to not scratch it up installing it.

Finished my drawer system today... Was a fair amount of work to get right but enjoyable nonetheless. One long (regular length) drawer and one shorter drawer to accommodate 10" sub. Got the local metal supplier to shear me a few slide in dividers out of aluminum and lined the drawers with raptor liner. Welded up brackets on top of the old 3rd row brackets to support the wings & welded blind nuts to secure the tie downs. Time to load up the tools!
