Im about to get this done, these summers in the south are brutal. Do you know what was used? How much did it cost?

He used a standard "black" automotive tint on everything in the rear (where the factory tint is applied). He then used that same "black" tint on the fronts along with a "bronze" that is actually made for homes. He also has an 80 series himself and did the same to his a long time ago. For some reason mine actually came out even a better match than his. He suspects that maybe the manufacturer has slightly modified their product over time.

I think he used Llumar Platnium Plus F2 PP 35 Tint. There are also several posts here on Mud that talk about the tint options. It was a couple hundred bucks, including the front windshield.

Installed RCV rear axles, all new rear control arm bushings, new hand brake shoes,

WTH apparently it was emergency brake repair weekend!

This weekend I finally got my 80 running again after it was down for a week, distributor fried while my housemate borrowed it. Shoutout CruiserYard for the replacement!

Also replaced my fan clutch so it would stop overheating in the brutal AZ heat, replaced all 4 shocks and mounted some fresh 33's. Very happy with the outcome of a productive weekend, cheers yall

Nice! Is that a new actuator? or rebuild? If new, where did you purchase?
Thanks,
dg

So I did end up going with a brand new actuator for $459 from rock auto. I have the one I removed off my truck but cannot remove the actuator rod (the part that connects the shift fork) I need to try to heat it up with map gas. The other actuator was a “rebuild” by a shady cruiser company that didn’t work. I opened up both the “rebuild” and the one off my rig and been able to use parts of each to sort of have an idea on how to rebuild one of them to keep as a spare. Funny thing is the “rebuilt” has corroded surface which would compromise with the elements, the gasket surface is soo destroyed. I’m perplexed a cruiser company considered this part as “ok” to rebuild...

Decided to deep clean the carpets, since I know it hasn’t been done in atleast ten years. Used a combo of simple green, a brush, wet vac, spot treatment, and a carpet extractor with heat and detergent.

Not perfect but much better.

Got a link to the visors?

Are they a direct bolt on with same wiring?
visors can be found on ebay. the connector off the existing 80 visor wiring loom needs to be transferred over to the LS400 loom in order for it to be plug and play.
