@LS1FJ40, I drove that '92 I bought on the freeway the other day. Once it gets past about 60 it flies up to 85 like nobody's business! I have to be careful not to speed. It holds 80 at about 2500 RPM. I think you've been lying about how slow they are so you can have more for you. Not going to win a drag race against a tractor until 3rd gear, but it does better with 31's than my 1fzfe does with 33's! It's getting harder to want to sell this thing.

My 92 is quicker than my 93. I enjoy driving my 92 more than my 93. We'll see once I have my refreshed 1FZ-FE in the 93.

Found what may be a common wiring issue with FZJ80s..

Two of the three fuse blocks in my possession have the same wire looking pretty bad. No issues with the fuse burning up or surrounding area in fuse block melting, but the wire itself clearly isn't happy.

This is for the Right Hand headlight in the underhood fuse block. Equivalent wire for the left headlight looked fine on all three blocks for me.

The worse one is from a 94 that has had HIR bulbs for the past year or so.. the other was a 97 using stock headlamps.

Got rid of the unused disk changer. There is so much room under there. Will be going back later with better wiring and install the inverter instead. In the mean time the kiddos have power.

I've got that same 12v adaptet in that slot but only the ports poke out, mounted it upside down to the bracket above the changer. My inverse is mounted on the lower plate with the outlets below the USB/cig adapter. Great location for both.

Started my morning helping my brother put on a spare, fix his brakes and take him to get a replacement tire. Some jackals came thru the apartment complex he lives in slashed 20 something people's tires. Then I got to work AND finish my rear tailgate storage.

What a great start to the weekend. I'm the furthest thing from Irish, but I got in the spirit and whipped up some Corned Beef and Cabbage for my Irishman.

Have a great weekend!

Green is definitely ur color!

Realized that the check engine light wasn't illuminating during key on. My thought was that it either burned out for being on so long or was removed to hide a problem.

Tore into the dash, replaced the burned out 74, and didn't get a code when fired up. Phew!

Noticed this between his and mine....there's a toyota plaque riveted to the head and mine doesn't have it. Mean anything?
It means yours will be easier to bolt a Wits' End York bracket to. That data plate covers one of the 4 holes you'll need to access.

Gave the beast a good washing after the snow this week. Also got my Wits End key chains in the email. Going to put them to use next week. View attachment 1423318
