It is a homebuilt bumper.
Does it start faster? Not sure if it is all 1fz or just mine but it takes about 3 seconds before mine fires up even when it is warm.
Not sure if it starts faster but it cranks right over. You don't get the wa wa wa then turn over now.
What bulbs did you install?
Put new 315 duratracs on the truck. With a 2.5" lift, they fit perfectly. I know you all tried to tell us how great 35 inch tires were, but the traction in the snow and on ice is unbelievable, and the ride actually seems much smoother. Now I need to find a way to carry the spare!
The 315 spare will fit in stock location. Look it up.
pulled all the seats and emptied it out so I could move out of my apartment. This thing hauls butt (objectively) without a bunch of interior crap!
I also saw no way this could have possibly gone wrong on the freeway today. It also explains why I can't have nice things and why I get sucky fuel mileage
I'll be pulling injectors and cleaning the air intake system. I guess I'll do the oil pump cover and crankshaft seal too. That will require some spot cleaning first. I'll send the injectors off on Monday. Looks like it won't be until next weekend at the soonest I'll have the cruiser running.

Was done 120k km ago, but I didnt power it up to baby it, it gets driven HARD.
I have no doubt the boost has bought it forward prematurely, but it did have a fan hub going and got a bit warm whilst on the beach a month ago, which may also of contributed.
Just going to lift the head, chuck a gasket and bolts at it, and strap it back down to get through Xmas holiday away, as I was going to pull it to give it a refresh next year anyway 400,000km [250,000 miles] on the original bottom end, turbo charged for 240,000km, and on LPG.
