@AMMO can you point me to an example of the screw jack that you think is what you're after? I'd like to get my head wrapped around as many factors as I can before I do some testing on the prototypes.

I for one (and I suspect many of you as well) have always been impressed with @reevesci Trail Tailor's bumper designs and fabrication. Really looking forward to seeing how these turn out.

I'm consistently amazed at the Land Cruiser enthusiast small businesses that are working hard to fill the needs of LC owners with new stuff and inject fresh ideas into the market. Wits End, Trail Tailor, Autocraft/Redline LC, Landtank, YotaTEQ are ones that come to mind and I'm sure there are others. Good stuff guys and keep it coming!

Sent ya a PM

Installed a new Optima yellow top. New oil sending unit (lacked proper tools to do this tonight) rebuilding knuckles, and re-gear in next three weeks.

Installed a passenger grab bar after years of contemplation. Would be a 20 minute job if it weren't for having to wrangle the air duct out of the dash.

Also got a nice picture of the 80 in the mail.. I don't usually take it above 35mph, but sometimes you just gotta kiss the sky.

Is everything in the dash to install the grab bar. this is something I might want to do.

I just did grab bar a month ago. The holes are there, all you need to do is is get (getting the duct out of the way is entertaining, but be patience it will cooperate) to the back and find the holes poke a nail or something from the back to the front then use a hole saw from the front of dash to drill out, don't let the pilot bit stick out to much you can oversize the mounting hole. This is were the fun begins, 1 nut is easy 1 is not, you'll figure it out. Having a small handed person around might be helpful. I did it just removing glove box and duct, some say you need to remove more but it can be done. Good luck

A miracle occurred...
Over 165 miles traveled on less than a half tank of gas.

The secret is I got gas in Nevada without all the BS Cali crap.
