What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (35 Viewers)

I took her off-road yesterday for the first time since February. I was by myself, so I stuck to plain vanilla Forest Service roads that I've driven several times already. Before the ride I had the oil changed, diff and transfer case levels checked, grease the joints, top off the fluids, checked and aired the tires. After the ride, I washed her.

Yesterday, I also started to try to find and repair the issue with my cigarette lighter. A week ago I noticed that my phone wasn't charging, and I started fiddling with it yesterday before I went riding. I searched the forums and found this video yesterday: However, on my initial visual inspection, the fusible link looked OK to me. This morning, I sat down with the part and I did notice that the link (an insulated L-shaped piece of wire) was slightly drooped in the elbow of the L. Looking even closer, I saw two almost pinhole sized holes in the insulation (evidence of a melted wire). So, following the video, I removed the insulating washer, put it all back together, and "Ta-da", I have power to my phone again.

I would swap my green beast for a red beast any day in the week. The green is so dark it looks like black, which IS the worse color on an 80.

We removed the factory bumps with a 12 mm socket and proceeded to mount up the KING bump stops

There is likely another white 80 in the area as well (with CO plates I believe). The people with the white 80 shared something on FB a couple days ago that they were doing a bit of traveling with the people in that maroon 80. It's a couple from Australia and England that purchased an 80 almost 2 years ago in CO for a one year + trip from Canada to Ushuaia and back. They have been out over a year. They purchased a Tepui Autana Ruggedized RTT from me prior to leaving. They've given it some SERIOUS use.

Yes the brackets are from Kings and everything else needed to install except the 2.25" hole saw!

Talk to Joey he will have more info.....

I have used and abused my set and they are awesome!!! I broke my spindle, bent my radius arm and my tie rod ends and the suspension is holding up.... I am so glad i got these done to my truck because before the suspension was just horrible with the OME shocks.

I should have just saved my money and went straight to these instead of of wasting time and money on 3 sets of OME, 1 set of FOX...KYB mono max, bilstien 5100, pro comps, although not in this exact order.
