Working on a d2s 3.0 projector retro. Got all the parts last year but held off cause I wasn't sure if I was keeping the truck. Light output is awesome compared to stock. Here's a shot halfway through with a projector on the driver side and factory headlamp on the passenger side (with previous owner installed drop-in hid bulb). Next is with both projectors in. What striked me most was the improvement in width, I had no idea how poor it was before, granted it had and "improper" bulb.

@Heckraiser , you should get one. We've got 5 chickens in ours. I'll give you some eggs if you come to west Michigan!
Never thought of moving it with the 80, might have to do that!

Installed a new Warn 9.5 XP with synthetic line. Factor 55 also coming. However I like the looks of this as is. Is there a bracket that will move the solenoid/plug in box down low and out of the way?

For my cargo drawers Rev 4.2 I scabbed in a fridge slide (prototype build) for upcoming Sept long weekend trip. I had the slides from a previous build. They added a lot of weight but for the fridge they work great! The plan is to get it set up and use a few times, iron out the kinks and rebuild with proper plywood. Stove will slide out from under fridge yet.

Slee shortbus bumper comes with such a bracket.. not sure if they'll sell it separate, or whether it'll clear the fairlead plate on an ARB.

Finally got around to making some sliders.

Just got back from Laurel Lakes. Damn that place is gorgeous and I think my new favorite spot. It's 10mi round trip and it's the road literally right before you turn off before going to Mammoth Mountain. Mostly shelf road with four switch backs. The last one in particular is a killer, literally :*(

Can you spot me?

Hit up big bear with couple of big net buddies of mine. Let them drive the 80 on gold mountain because I need to spot them. Fantastic day but my buddy backed the 80 into a tree so I have my first trail body damage.

didnt i tell you not to let women drive the 80!! how many more 80s have to be sacrificed until people realize they should not let females drive! on and off road!..hell they shouldnt even be operating a blender, let alone a garage door!

that dent looks good though! lol

Drove my 80 from Sacramento to Long Beach Thursday and picked up a Trail Gear tube bumper and a new snorkel from another mud member Saturday.

Awesome! I need to do this, this fall. Any advice?

Yes - pack a gun (.45 ACP). This is black bear country, and they are fattening up for winter.
