This is an ignorant question, but how often does it snow in you area of AUS. Is it a big deal to have snow there?

We get snow in our mountain ranges every year but our season is really only a couple of months.

Given our mountains are generally 1500m to max 2400m, we are a bit limited to how much good snow we get, especially for driving on with all or good high tracks closed by Parks for the winter period.

Wobbly referring to RVs swaying all over the place?
And caravans. I'm not sure why they allow people to tow anything they like on a car licence. You get Mr Smith who has spent 40 years driving a desk, and suddenly he's in charge of 7 ton of car and van with no training or testing required

Rock Creek Campground near Crowley Lake. Stopped here for the night to catch the leading edge of the meteor shower. Only saw about 30. Tonight should be the light show!

Looking forward to your pics. I'll be headed out soon to check out the show myself tonight.

Tried to head out the valley to get up in elevation to enjoy the meteor showers. It was a comedy of errors trying to leave, ending with a flat tire before I finally hit the road...at rush hour. Ugh.

Oh and they didn't have my tire, nor size, in stock. I left having to borrow a spare from @jtwopark

The Car Gods have never been on your side. It seems they always play a joke on you.

that is what happens when you play with a truck that is 20+ years old and don't have spares for everything!....my general rule of thumb is have a MINIMUM of 2 of everything! Land Cruiser included!!

and a majority of other things as well. I come from a background that requires that we have a back up for a back up!

He doesn't need back up! He just wants to trick some one to come up

I don't call it backup. Normally people call it a disease. OCD.
And contrary to popular belief, it is contagious. You've been around @NLXTACY for way too long.

I just have trust issues! That is why I like to have spares as much as possible

:bounce2:

I just can't get over how cool of a name "chicken tractor" is. If I had chickens or lived in a neighborhood where chickens were acceptable, I would get them just so I could name my car the "chicken tractor." My stepdaugher's bio-dad (and a good buddy) is a chicken enthusiast, I'm going recommend he christen his subaru the "chicken tractor."

Not that complicated, although I have been in relationships more complicated than this one ;)
