On my rear hatch I had quite a bit of sun damage.Thanks for the info! Save buying new grab handles. Current ones are ugly even after serious scrubbing.
I’ll also use 3M body panel sealer in all of the joints.

Question:
How fast is the fastest setting go on your wipers with the new motor? I feel like mine is slow and nowhere near modern enough to keep up with real heavy rain.

While I was waiting for the 3M body sealant to dry I decided to take care of a minor imperfection. When the rig was repainted in ‘03 they got some overspray on the rear hatch upper seal. Hit it with a quick spray of black paint. I doubt anyone would have ever noticed it but...did I mention I’m slightly OCD?
I should be able to finish the respray of the A pillars and gutters today.
That leaves me with shifter and shifter linkage bushings and this rig will be completed.
