Just installed my drivers side. Nice job printing D and P for each side. The repair clip is pure genius. The mounting on the bottom actually tightens now! I had some issues wherein the upper right was still loose but it turned out the repair clip wasn't totally seated correctly. Once I fixed that, it works great, nice job @Outsane!

Installed this weekend. I honestly had no clue what I was doing when I pulled the mirror out and had to scratch my head for a while to figure out what I was supposed to do. But I eventually got there.

Installed on both sides now. Second one it wouldn't slip in, finally figured out I hadn't widened the slots enough, ground a little more and slipped right in. Works well. Thanks!

I discovered yesterday that mine's a bit loose on the driver's side. It appears that there's some play in the spot indicated on the pic (borrowed from @Poondoc )

Anyone else have a slight play on the right side of the bracket? I removed and reinstalled and it's just a bit loose on that side. Thinking about just wrapping some electrical tape on the mirror motor and jamming it back in to "fix it".

On the driver's mirror, right side. My motor housing has a slight extruded ridge (vertically in the middle) of the piece that goes up into your bracket. Not sure if it's just pivoting there or not. If I tap on the left side of the mirror, nothing moves, the right side has a smidge of play. I don't "see" it in the mirror unless I hit a good pothole or bump.

Excellent product. I ordered one bracket to try it out and immediately ordered a pair for another 80 after installing it! I've never had any luck with the zip tie method.

I'm looking forward to trying the Baofeng radio mount that @Outsane sells - it should arrive with the other mirror brackets by tomorrow.
