They could have at least wiped off the headlights of my poor mud-caked Pig in that third pic.

I am not sure at this time. Warpig (Ben) and myself are doing a Boulder City trip soon and I will mention it to him and his wife Jen.

Cheers

BTW - my plan this year is to take a picture of each person by their pig plus other pictures of the adventure then write a short article for the TLCA Trails magazine. Thus one of the reasons for name, home city, year/ color of pig, etc
Good stuff!

Looking forward to some cooler mountain weather in Jarbidge in two weeks…

All,
David (DTC72) and I have a tenative plan for the 2024 Pig Party. After some thought about finding a camp spot after dark that would accommodate our group, we decided to meet at Cedar Creek Reservoir on Thursday afternoon. The location is just 17 miles off highway 93. This would give us an easy point to find in the dark, and easy to see others parked. The plan would be to drive to Jarbidge (56 mi) early Friday morning (8:00am) to find a suitable campsite. There are four campgrounds along the river near Jarbidge proper. We are not familiar enough with specific pull-outs, nor can we guarantee any particular spot since there are not reservable camp spots, only first come-first serve camping.

Itinerary:
1) Meet on Thursday (Jul 11) afternoon: Cedar Creek Reservoir (near the South Boat Ramp)
2a) Friday morning: 8am, drive (56 miles) to a Jarbidge campground suitable for 6-8 vehicles
2b) Friday afternoon-1/2 day trail ride (return to camp for dinner)
3a) Saturday morning: Leave for a 3/4 day drive (bring lunch)
3b) Late Sat afternoon: Optional group dinner with potluck (bring appetizers/main/desserts-whatever you want to share)
4) Sunday Morning (Jul 14): pack up and depart from Jarbidge campground

Pigeaten regrets not being able to attend. Wife fell again and broke other wrist, which will need surgery.
I will be there in spirit
Gosh Don. Very sorry to hear that. Hope the surgery goes well.
