Congrats DG!!! All of it looks great! Can't wait for the inaugural grand opening

I would have loved to have been able to do that, but I had a shoestring budget! I might get a low rise lift like a Max Jack, but that's way down on the list.

It is a beauty with the rock & Hardiplank, very nice selection of materials. At least you have "Dave's Cruiser Lab".......maybe when I hit the lotto...

Dave,

Looking for storage solutions for the new house and shop I came across this. Thought of you.

Very classy.

Thanks Jason, but I can't afford to be that fancy. I did score some pallet racking for storage and hope to have that in after I epoxy the floor.

With a little help from my friends and a bunch of cold beer from St. Arnold and Karbach Brewing, we were able to install the tub onto the frame! Man, it was hotter than hell out there.

Big thanks to Lee (@Sea Knight), Craig (@Unoman), AJ (@aljollano), Bobby (@Rock hor), and Pat (@patride71) for all the help with the tub and body mounts.

It's starting to take form! All down hill from here. Thanks for the cold beer! It certainly quenched the thirst in the hot TX heat.

That had to be brutal working with no shade. I had mine out in the morning and it got moved back in the garage real quick.

Wasn't all that bad. We had shade from the oak trees and a bunch of cold beer.

Yep, your wrenching beer selection was excellent.

Thanks for the brews DG...the new garage is awesome and the 40 is starting to look like a 40!

Thanks Pat. Going to try to get the floors done this weekend so I can move the 40 into the shop. I just wish we didn't have highs in the 100's :(

Just a quick update. With some help from the homies, Craig (@Unoman) and AJ (@aljollano), we were able to manhandle the 40 into it's new home.

I think my neighbors are happy now :)

Nice rack(s). The shop floor looks great too, love the shop. It's so nice to have space to wrench and drink beer.

Thanks! I got the racks off of craigslist for a good deal, but had to clean/paint them due to some surface rust on them.

We use those same racks here at work for just about every thing. They work great for desks. Adjustable height and lights can easily be mounted to the bottom of the shelf.

Well done buddy! Glad I could help and thanks for the cold beer. After seeing your shop progress, I need to get my act together and finish mine up!

Sorry for slacking off on my updates. Been working on setting up my shop and have done some minor work on the 40. I did manage to start putting the new aftermarket fenders on to check fit before taking it to my buddy to paint. The fenders came from Cruiser Corps and look good, but needed some work. Mostly just slotting some of the mounting holes. The other downside is that some of the edges are sharp as hell. Anyway, here's a pic of how she currently sits. The plan is to tow her over to my friends shop tonight so that he can start with some minor body work before paint. Can't wait to see her painted up!

LOL! 6H9 Greyish Olive. Same color as my favorite pig. You might know something about that :) @scrapdaddy
