Got my delivery notification yesterday saying the Moseley package was delivered. Nothing! Luckily, I was able to track it down at a neighbor down the street. I might have fat-fingered the address. LOL!

Edit: I threw away all the packaging for the pic.

Too bad it didn’t show up at my place Dave😜. I’m out of town today but will swing by tomorrow.

Missing some parts still, but decided to wrench for an hour before I go for a bike ride. Removed the carb and did some clean up. I then installed the adapter from Moseley and the Sniper unit. Shiny!

Another incremental update. I worked on the throttle cable this morning. I used the Red Line Cruisers linkage adapter, Moseley's Holley bracket, and Lokar cable. The Red Line bracket lets me use the stock setup with minor work. I only had to drill out the ball stud.

I mounted the PowerSurge on the firewall and checked clearances. Looks good. I'm waiting on some fittings (5/16 barbed). Slow and steady build.

Quick update:

I was finally able to get her all buttoned up and adjusted the idle. Man, she's a different truck now!

Loaded up my Jeffsy for a birthday ride. Glad I was able to get her back on the road for my birthday (12/7)!

Glad to see her out in open air Dave, you probably should have done a writeup on all the work involved in clearing a path to the garage door to set her free.

Looking for a good home now!

Finally reading through this incredible build thread. I tend to live in the 60 section but have always wanted to build a 40. I was fortunate enough to be asked by the new owner to sort out a few things so it would be ready for his world in CO. I can confirm this is a great truck and well built. However, I was cussing you Dave when I had to remove the trans hump for clearance to remove the trans (clutch refresh job) and had to fight the double sided adhesive gasket you used. Actually it was my fault for missing this step (removing the trans hump while the truck was on the ground

) as it was already on the lift and the trans was sitting a few inches pulled back from the motor 5’ in the air on a tower jack. So I had to remove the hump while the truck was in the air. Probably moved that ladder side to side 4x :).
