Stories like this are why I’ve learned it’s best for me to just learn how to work on my own rigs. Unless it’s AJ or Jimmy, if I ever have the need, they will get my business. The only shop that will touch one of my new(er) vehicles is AutoTek.

Installed this Radius Fabrication snorkel today on this 79.
It didn’t come with a support bracket here where the original snorkel mounts so we made this one out of stainless steel.
