Made it to my buddy's shop. Had to use a ratchet strap on the center arm linkage to keep the wheels from flopping side to side since I don't have the steering wheel installed.

He's going to start on it tomorrow!

Started taking the windshield apart so that I can strip/sand the frame. Looks to be on really good shape with no rust!

Thanks to Lash ( @77TLCFJ40 ) for the 4Plus Aussie brushguard and Edwin (@green grass hopper ) for transporting it down from Arkansas for me.

Thank you Dave! You introduced me to a new friend, Edwin.

It's gonna look great and protect your investment. 4+ makes great stuff!

Finally got around to working on the rusty tailgate. I hate welding sheet metal! I'll grind everything down tomorrow and see how it looks.

Flap disks, wire wheels, 6" random orbital sander, and sand paper. Lots of work, but I can do it on my own time.

I dropped off some parts to get media blasted near work this morning (tailgate, bib, aprons). The guy gave me a fair price and will have them ready Monday morning. This will help me get the parts over to the painter faster. He's already prepping the tub (minor body work). I also painted the 4 Plus brush guard and cleaned up the tailgate hinges.

Loving this cooler weather!

Started cleaning up the steering column assembly. I found out the turn signal switch is broken. Need to find a replacement.

He's planning on shooting the basecoat on Saturday. He's got to work on the hood and other small parts first.

Getting done work in on the rusty tailgate. I got it blasted with some other parts while I was at it. Weld, grind, weld, grind, repeat.

Let me see if I can dig up my spare turn signal switch this weekend. If it works, it's yours.
