My 77 FJ40 Build

My first 40 was a green 77. My current is the Smurf blue. Hated the blue but loved the truck. Dreamed often of a color change on #2 to some shade of Toyota green.

15 years later and love the blue. Glad it's blue. That blue you posted is awesome.

Quick update. Still trying to figure out the color and also installed some mystery brackets.

I also started removing the old seam sealer. The carpet knife really makes removal easy.

Well, I bought the top off of Tucker. Got a good deal considering how great of a shape it's in. The doors were a bonus, too.

Installed the condenser onto the truck. I had to install the bib to check clearance between the condenser and bib.

I also started to clean up the compressor bracket. It has a crack in it and will need to be welded. I'll save that for tomorrow.

Where is the fuel filtr attached-on the battery tray or that shield on the bottom?I only have plastic fuel filter on top of the motor before carb so might install OEM fuel filter in original location...Thanks Mike

Got the A.C.compressor/alternator bracket welded and painted. I put welds on both sides and left them as-is. I also attached a bar across the top (towards the engine) for additional stiffness.
