I have been driving around and the brakes are so nice. Santa got me some goodies. I got my exhaust kit. 2.5in mandrel bent kit with coupled ends for easy instal.

Also, after much investigation I decided to go with lizard skin thermal liner and cover with Raptor bed liner. They both come with the spray gun. I will be grinding down the crappy roll on liner I have now. I may start today, who knows?

A lot of work right there. I'm guessing it's warm there in order to apply the Lizard Skin, when it gets cooler it's takes longer to dry.

It supposed to be in the 70s thru the weekend. Im hoping I can get the floor stripped and primed by Saturday.

It was a cheap roll on product and it has zero thermal capabilities. It was also rubbing off on the driver floor boards. Now I'm spraying the lizard skin and a good start on bed liner.

Finished grinding the floor today. What a pita. We will prime and coat the lizard skin next Saturday. Let the skin cure for a day or more and spray the bed liner.

I adjusted the fuel neck. It looked like the drain under your sink with a droop. I cut about 2 inches off the steel 90 piece and now have fall toward the tank. Hopefully now i can actually fill tank up to capacity.

Yesterday I was working on the floor. I had to scuff a bit of surface rust because we had a good rain after I exposed the metal. We cleaned up and taped off the inside and put down some primer. After i take care of some chores today we are going to spray the lizard skin.

It was 85 all weekend. Even here thats a little warmer than usual.

We got the lizard skin on. It goes on easy and looks good. 2 gallons covers the floor and fire wall no prob.

Bed liner tomorrow. Weeee.

Which Lizard Skin product did you use?

Got the bed liner sprayed on monday-tuesday. It looks so good, i really like it. Its Raptor diy comes with a sprayer and 4 liters was plenty for 2 coats.

Today we rewired the loom to the rear. It used to go down the center of the floor and was getting stepped on. We ran it down the passenger side then the left side wires under the back seat frame.

We also put some sound and heat padding on the firewall. Its some cheap stuff i found on Amazon for $26. Its called Noico and is 1/3" thick and self adhesive. Its ok to work with and using aluminum tape really helped. Install wasn't fun with my wires and heater hoses but I got it in. Ill report whether its amy good.

Also sprayed a little rubber under coat on the back quarters for sound deadening. All in all a good productive day. More tomorrow.
