I love the sharp cut-off, and the fact that I can see it even during the day time (so much nicer than the OEM projectors...)

They look great... you need to raise the drivers side or lower the passenger side. You only want one step up then you'll have it perfect

If anyone wants set of Quad lights I have a set almost ready
I took these lights out of my truck a few weeks ago. The new OEM housings and projectors were installed Sept of 2017 and some will remember these shrouds I painted. These will be sold with new bulbs, ballast and igniters and the drivers to run the halos. Priced at $1550.00 slightly used... New quad sets run $2250.00
They still need adjusting and I’ll close them up.
Pm or call me if anyone is interested

@Luke111 recently built me a set of D2S lights and I just installed them 2 days ago. Could not be happier with the results. As has been documented repeatedly here the output is exponentially better than stock. Installation was much smoother than I thought. To be honest I was intimidated by the wiring aspect because I didn't have a good feel about what I was getting into but once the harness arrived it made more sense. The fact that you only have to splice one set of wires (one positive and one negative) was a huge relief. I don't mess with electrical stuff typically. If you don't want to bake your lights and cut your shroud etc, just have Lou build you some. Super fast turn-around time and he was very responsive to my dumb questions. Thanks Lou!

Nate, thanks for the note and to anyone on the fence HID retrofitted lights are game changers for night driving

Coming home last night on the Greenway near Dullas Airport turned out to be the perfect road to display the output of the D2S 5.0 and the addition of the LED Profile Hi-Lens in the high beam location.. I’ve run the D2S since June of 2017 and I’m still shocked by the light output.
I’m working on a similar setup for a Mudder in Ca but with the 2Stroke LED that will also run at a lower output DRL. The 2Stroke LED,
new harness and resistor will be on my site very soon as a plug and play High Beam/DRL for both LC and LX470 with or without a HID in the low beam location.

Some of you already know this but I thought I’d mention that with the help of @jerryb and for those the a 03-07 LX and a LC that have a DRL resistor you can run the 2Stroke LED in the High Beam location and it will operate as a DRL and High Beam. The kit is on my site which includes a harness, resistor and the bulbs .. it’s plug and play

Can you elaborate on how this harness works. I.e. does ones need a Bi-xenon projector for this harness to work?
For example, I have a pair of non-bi-xenon SC430 projectors and Halogen hi beams.

Yes the harness will work ... you would buy the harness for those running Halogens in the low beam... I didn’t think about those running non bi-xenon.. but that harness will work as long as your truck is a 03-2007

any news on 2002 models?
Jerry would need a 98-2003 for a few days and might be able to figure it out... So if anybody lives near Gulf Breeze Fl with 98-2002 that Jerry can work on for a few days I'll give you the Kit for no cost.. If he can get them to work

I may have a new bracket available soon. LX470 HID foglight retrofit
I have these small Morimoto Matchbox projectors that I was going to install in the highbeam location as a quad setup but decided I'm going use the Mini H1 instead but more on that later. One of the first
modifications I did to my lights was I stuck an HID bulb in the stock fog light projectors and it was OK but it wasn't great...there's no cut off so the fact that I had these small matchbox projectors sitting around I decided to bake one of my foglights and open it up.

I pulled out the stock projector ....mocked up a bracket out of sheet metal. The OEM fog light projector is attached with two screws and one attachment point that's very similar to the headlight bracket....uses the small plastic clip for the height adjustment. So I trimmed up one of the attachment points i had for the headlight brackets and bolted it to the sheet metal bracket....installed the projectors.
These tiny projectors are pretty sick and will make a great fill light for the Mini H1's or the D2S projectors

I couldn't wait for the laser cut foglight brackets so I cut two by hand in aluminum and closed up my foglights
You cou easily use these as head lights
I was also successful in cutting the OEM foglight projector in half to use as a pattern for the brackets

Sorry for the delay, the laser company has the files for the Mini H1, the combo bracket that works with the D2S 4.0 and the M LED. They are also cutting a few fog light brackets for those who are keeping the stock bumper
... speaking of fog lights.. I just received a set I ordered from China and unlike the knock off head lights these appear to match the OEM foglights including the mounting bracket projector inside the housing..

@Luke111
Any chance that these LX470 foglight adapters plates are still available? I didn’t see them on your website?

I have a few sets left... PM or call me....703-371-8494 ....You can use the Matchbox projector as a nice fill light or use a 2.0 projector from Lightwerkz .. it does reguire you to dremel the fog light shroud open but the light output is pretty sick.
I just finished a quad set for my 80 using Depo light housing and I’m running the D2S and a small 2.0 projector I bought from LightWerkz... I’m also running a 6500k bulb a 35w ballast and it color matches the D2S
I’m currently modifying my LX fog lights with that 2.0 projector wiring them to my A-Pillar switch pad and running a 3 way splitter to have 6 lights firing as high beams.

First picture shows the color match of running 6500k and 35w ballast in the 2.0 and 5800K and 50w ballast in the D2S

Second is a size comparison of the 2.0 to the smaller Morimoto Matchbox. The 2.0 is smaller then the Mini H1

Opening the shroud for clearance.... not perfectly round but once they are installed you'll never see it and as I stated above the plan is to wire them to also fire as a high beam along with the 4 other lights.

Hey everyone I just wanted to post up and how awesome these lights are. I have the DS2Ss and the new led high beams that Luke is putting together. I have had them installed for about a month and I am very impressed. I don’t have any pictures that do the brightness justice
