I am curious if anyone tried this retrofit. My HZJ105 came from factory with ABS, so I have the 4-channel brake booster. Also, there is a digital position sensor on the steering wheel (and I have no clue what it is used for). The engine is purely mechanical, so no ECU. I know for sure that some TC units picks some info from the ECU and transmission to decide the conditions to apply the torque braking, like throttle position and gear, but some work without it and rely purely on speed difference within same axle and steering wheel position.
By any chance, is there anyone who knows the inner workings on A-TRAC on LC100? Maybe there is hope, after all...

I think you’ll need to find the wiring diagram from a 2000-2007 brake ECU. The ECU on US models is above and to the left of the brake pedal. There are a lot of wires going in and out of that box. Our trucks also have stability control, using yaw rate sensors, steering angle sensors, and Toyota only knows what else.

I love ATRAC, but if I was in your shoes I’d probably just get lockers.
