It is for a Fj40. but needs no modifications other than making a plate on the underside to bolt it up. The top bolts just line up and work. You can find them at various online places. Here is a link to one of them.....
Mild thread hi-jack, but wait until y'all see the front bumper that @Bump It Offroad made for @gonzopancho 55/80...

You just like going to see the girl at the hardware store, eh Bob?

Got some pretty strong opinions about the front bumper. Opinions as in it’s got to go. I don’t disagree entirely. Too bulky maybe when you compare it to the rear bumper. I think after it’s on the road I’ll take it up to 4x4labs as they are not too far and have them make something that compliments the rear bumper and while they are at it maybe some rock sliders that will never see rocks. 😂

Question. Are the black plastic window roller upper handles as strong as the shiney metal window roller upper handles?

So the black ones will not work on a 73? Or are you saying if I was a purist (clearly not) then they would be incorrect?
Well I assume they will work but now that you asked the question I must admit that I have no first hand knowledge.

Its been a long road to get to this point, huge shout out to Mike (55guy) and Dale for guiding me through this. I just got it back from Paint and am putting it back together. I'll try to list what I have put on it so far:
Chevy 350 from the HotRod Company out of Washington. Fitech fuel injection. Radiator from Mosely.
700r Transmission, stock transfer case.
Car was relatively rust free. Color is factory Nebula Green and a Ford Cream (n4).
Rear bumper is from 4x4Labs. Shout out to Luke for his help.
Front bumper is from a FJ40 by ARB.
Wheels from Nomad I think, Facebook told me to buy them.
Ragtop is from Legacy. There was a crumbling ragtop when I bought it, had to modify the hole slightly.
I have two Scheelmann seats and rear seat, more to come on that.
Disc brakes all around from B2B products.

For the rear cargo area, should I put down the sound deadoning material (Killmat)? I do plan on putting carpet down.

Very nice! Such a beauty to behold.. Even better when driving.

Some one knows the answer, do I vaguely recall @scrapdaddy commenting on spline differences between door years? :hmm:

They are different. The newer models had a longer spline on the window gear. Older ones like mine are prone to stripping. I don't believe you can mix and match, but there again I wear two different colored socks all the time and my wife says I can't. :) I'm not sure of the year they changed, might of been when the wing window left @ the 74 model.
